Vittatoe, Moturi shine in UTEP spring game |
Trevor Vittatoe and Jeff Moturi provided most of the offensive fireworks as the Blue team topped the Orange, 13-5, in UTEP’s annual spring game on Saturday afternoon in the Sun Bowl.
Vittatoe completed 22 of 35 passes for 276 yards and two touchdowns—both to Moturi, who finished with seven catches for 100 yards. Moturi reeled in scoring passes of 8 and 30 yards as the Blue built a 13-0 lead at the intermission before surviving a scoreless second half.
CFG Analysis:Vittatoe and Moturi will be connecting a lot this fall. Both are top fantasy options.
