The two Marshall University football players originally charged with felony drug possession officially had the charges reduced Monday morning.
During a hearing in Cabell County Magistrate Court, Darius Marshall pleaded guilty to a reduced misdemeanor drug possession charge. He’ll undergo six months of unsupervised probation. According to attorney for one of the players, if at the end of that time the players have stayed out of trouble, their records will be wiped clean of these charges.
