Okay, here’s the deal. You can have any players you want. Forget about a draft format, its first dips for you. Name the starting line-up you wish you could have. Here’s your starting roster:
2 QB
3 RB
3 WR
1 TE
1 PK
1 DEF

Here’s my take:

QB- Case Keenum- You almost can’t not take him.
QB- Dwight Dasher- A monster who could be even better in 2010.

RB- Quizzy- My man love and pretty damn good.
RB- Shane Vereen- Cal RB, anymore need be said?
RB- John Clay- The big man is in store for a huge 2010, check his schedule.

WR- Ryan Broyles- Stud
WR- Randall Cobb- All over the field
WR- Mohamed Sanu- Cobb the 2nd

TE- Lance Hendricks- Extremely athletic

PK- Justin Kahut- What the hell

DE- Nebraska- The black shirts are back!

I really like these two also. Cobb just missed the cut on my list. I would have taken Nebraska IF Su was still there. I’m just not willing to make them a top 3 defense without him, but they easily are a top 10 defense in my eyes.

QB - Case Keenum
QB - Kellen Moore (most consistent QB it seems)

RB - Dion Lewis
RB - Kendall Hunter (in ppr leagues he will be a monster, plus weak schedule!)
RB - Jacquizz Rodgers

WR - Michael Floyd
WR - DeAndre Brown
WR - Ryan Broyles

TE - Kyle Rudolph (high ceiling)

K - ?

DEF. - USC (surprise pick here - just believe Kiffins DADDY gets it done with the talent he will have)

johnny2hotty, nice point about the USC defense. They will be one to watch. They were young last year and should be pretty experienced this year. Add in the fact the offense will be more consistent, and that will help keep the defense off the field.

I agree the Black Shirts may not be top 3 for the year, but they will be after the first 4 weeks. They have Western Kentucky, Idaho, and South Dakota State all at home during that stretch. The do have a tough task with your Huskies on the road in Week 3, but those other 3 matchups are juicy.

Pretty good team there.

The only thing I would say is Randall Cobb - you just never know what the QB position is going to give you in that situation - you can only hope he gets his touches in teh wildcat.

That is why I opted for DeAndre Brown becuase he is fully healthy now and they will have their QB Davis back chucking the ball around, since they do not have Damion Fletcher anymore. Look for Brown to have a big year and move on to the NFL in 2011.
Totally agree with you Broyles - he is going to get around 8-10 catches a game IMO.
I also thought of Sanu, but decided that Michael Flyod in Brian Kellys system is too good to pass up - even if the QB position is up fro grabs, Kelly just has his QB’s down to a “SCIENCE.”
