Need to bolster your college fantasy football roster? Here are a few BCS players for your consideration. Check out our non-BCS prospects

LOW HANGING FRUIT
No-brainer free agent adds.
RB Boom Herron, Ohio State
We've suggested all season to stash Herron on your rosters for the stretch run. He came through in his first action of the season rushing for 113 yards and 1 touchdown. We all know the Buckeyes can't throw the ball, and Boom is clearly the best running back on the roster. Expect him to receive a heavy workload the rest of the way.
WR Ryan Swope, Texas A&M
11-206-4. He might not approach that career statline the rest of the season, but he's still worth adding. Ride him while he's hot.
OTHER OPTIONS
These prospects are worth a look.
QB C.J. Brown, Maryland
In the last two games, Brown has rushed for an amazing 286 yards and a pair of scores. He's also passed for 213 and 3 more touchdowns. He's clearly won the job from the erratic Danny O'Brien and is an intriguing running QB option down the stretch.
QB Bryan Bennett, Oregon
Bennett looked outstanding after Darron Thomas went down to a knee injury. Thomas is expected to play this week, but you never know. If you're a Thomas owner and have the roster room, you'd be wise to handcuff Bennett.
QB Jeff Tuel, Washington State
Tuel is back from his collarbone injury, much to Marshall Lobbestael's dismay. Tuel got the start last week but didn't look so hot against a stout Stanford defense. If you're in a BCS-only league and in desperate need of QB help, you might want to snag Tuel and he does possess upside if he can keep the job.
RB Aaron Crawford, Texas Tech
With Eric Stephens out for the year, Crawford stepped in and did a nice job against Kansas State, touching the ball 25 times for 124 total yards and a TD. If he continues to get Stephens-like carries and can stay healthy (a problem for him in the past), Crawford could be a great option in the final five weeks of the season.
RB James White, Iowa State
Shontrelle Johnson is likely out for the year, which leaves the starting job in White's capable hands. He scored a TD in four of his six games as a backup, and should do even better as the starter.
RB Malcolm Brown, Texas
We've been patient with Brown, hoping he'd emerge during the second half of the season. Well, here we are. And Brown is staring to shine. He posted 19-135-2 last week against Oklahoma State, and has Kansas up next after a bye week.
RB Tony Jones, Colorado
Jones is a good looking freshman that caught our eye during the summer. With starter Rodney Stewart likely out for a while, Jones will step in and get he lion's share of touches. Last week, he touched the ball 21 times for 98 total yards and 2 scores (7 receptions).
TE Mark Furstenburg, Maryland
We recommended Fursternburg earlier this year, then he promptly went into the tank. Like most tight ends, he's hit or miss. But he hit last week to the tune of 5-104-2.
TE Cooper Helfret, Duke
Tight ends are a crapshoot. Helfret has scored in each of his last two games, and he does have 20 receptions on the season. He's a decent consistent option if you need help at this position.
TE Drake Dunsmore, Northwestern
To steal a line from Seinfeld, you gotta "love the Drake" when Dan Persa is under center. In the past few weeks, he's come alive in the passing game. Dunsmore is out there in many leagues after being cut loose early in the year.
