"What the hell's wrong with you guys?  Where the hell were ya?  Ya dumb jerk!?!?"

Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned.  Or in this case, a Grammy scorned.  My goodness, the way she was flappin' those arms at 0:41 you'd think she was trying to levitate.  Thankfully, Sparty pulled this game out or else Coach Dantonio would've had this blue-haired bundle of joy waiting at his doorstep.

So we segway over from Grandma Sh!t to our weekly Start-Sit.

Week 7 is bound to be a tricky one for many fantasy owners.  19 schools are on bye.  The injury report is longer than ever.  Lineups are thin.  Depth will be tested.

Who do you plug into your lineups this week?  We give you a few ideas below.  It looks like for the second week in a row, Kevin and Joe are taking different sides on a player (Stanford RB Stepfan Taylor).  Last week, Joe proved to be correct on WR Markus Wheaton.  Earlier in the year, Kevin won a point-counterpoint on Robert Turbin.  This one will break the tie.

Have at it....

TODD DEVRIES

BCS Only Start:

QB: James Franklin, Missouri vs. Iowa State: Am I the only one on the Franklin bandwagon?  He's up against lowly Iowa State this week, yet judging from the feedback we've been getting in Expert Advice, there are many non-believers out there.  Franklin has put up 20, 35, 22, 38 and 18 fantasy points this year.  That's solid, folks.  And the match up is good.  Start him.

RB: Dominique Whaley, Oklahoma vs. Kansas: The Sooners have settled on Whaley as their RB1.  He has 83 carries on the year, compared to 42 for Brennan Clay and 14 for Brandon Williams.  Despite having more carries than the other two, he has he best yards per carry (5.6) of the bunch.  He should have a nice outing against a pitiful KU defense.

WR: Nick Toon, Wisconsin vs. Indiana: Toon has scored touchdowns in each of his last four games.  Expect that trend to continue against one of the worst BCS defenses in the land.

Non BCS Start:

QB: Tyler Tettleton, Ohio vs. Ball State: Tettleton has scored over 20 fantasy points in 5 of 6 games this year.  Ball State is a middle of the road defense, and Tettleton should be able to pick them apart.

RB: Orleans Darkwa, Tulane vs. UTEP: Darkwa is starting to roll, and UTEP is having problems against the run. The Miners surrendered 199 rushing yards to Stony Brook RBs, 140 to SMU, 176 to USF, and 226 to Houston.

WR: Bryan Burnham, Tulsa vs. UAB: If you throw out the Boise State game, Burnham has put up 15, 25, 21 and 19 fantasy points.  UAB is the 17th worst defense against fantasy wide receivers. Good match up for Burnham.

BCS Only Sit:

QB- Marshall Lobbestael, Washington State vs. Stanford: The bloom is coming off the rose for Lobbestael.  He struggled last week against UCLA. Stanford presents a much tougher test.  Former starter Jeff Tuel is now healthy and you can bet Lobbs is starting to look over his shoulder.

RB- Vick Ballard, Mississippi State vs. South Carolina: After a nice start to the year, Ballard hasn't done much of what he does best: score touchdowns.  He only has 1 score in his last four games.  Unless you are in a BCS-only league, I would give Ballard a rest against a pretty good Gamecock defense.

WR- Demarlo Belcher, Indiana vs. Wisconsin: Through 5 games, Belcher has only tallied 265 receiving yards and scored 1 measly TD.  Based upon Expert Advice this week, there are still a few of you that are still holding out hope Belcher will turn it around.  I don't see it.  Not this week in Madison, anyway.

Non BCS Sit:

QB- Taylor McHargue, Rice vs. Marshall:
McHargue was a preseason sleeper that has put his owners to sleep thus far in 2011.  Last week against a terrible Memphis defense, he only mustered up 11 fantasy points.  That performance comes off the heels of an 8-point effort the prior week.  Even though he has another sweet match up on Saturday, he's not worth starting until he shows us something.

RB- Tevin Drake, Western Michigan vs. Northern Illinois: We noticed many people jumping on the Drake Train after last week's 18 fantasy point outburst.  You might want to keep those expectations in check.  He only received 11 touches last week, which is about what he's getting each week.  He's not a workhorse at all.  Drake has put up 9, 9, 5, 2, 1 and 18 points.

WR- Tyler Shoemaker, Boise State vs. Colorado State: With Geraldo Boldewijn returning to the lineup, there are a lot of cooks in the kitchen.  Too many.  Gone are the days of Titus Young and Austin Pettis hogging all of the targets.  Now, the Broncos are really spreading it around.  Shoemaker was a Touchdown-maker in the first part of the year, but Boldewijn is a nice, tall redzone target that will definitely steal some of his targets.

KEVIN MOUNT

BCS Only Start:

QB: Matt Barkley USC vs. Cal: Barkley has been throwing the ball all over the field and threw for 468 yards and four scores in his last game against Arizona. He could find similar success this week against a vulnerable Cal pass defense. Look for some big yardage totals and a few scores out of Barkley on Thursday night.

RB: Kenjon Barner Oregon vs. Arizona State: Barner could see a huge increase in his workload this week with LaMichael James likely sitting out due to a nasty looking shoulder injury. He has had big games in the past filling in for James and this should be no different. While he may not be quite the player that James is, Barner is more than capable of putting up great fantasy numbers this week against Arizona State.

WR: Rashad Greene Florida State vs. Duke: Greene has developed into the top threat in the Florida State passing game and is coming off a 163 yard and one score performance against Wake Forest. He should light up a dreadful Duke secondary this week and have many fantasy owners smiling big on Saturday.

Non BCS Start:

QB: Brett Smith Wyoming vs. UNLV: This freshman signal caller has quietly put together a solid fantasy campaign this season. He has shown that he is a dual threat player and has scored four rushing touchdowns on the year. Smith could have a fantasy fiesta against a putrid UNLV pass defense that comes in ranked 118th in the country, giving up an average of 330 passing yards per game. Fantasy owners should see some real nice numbers out of this kid in Week seven.

RB: Alfred Morris Florida Atlantic vs. Western Kentucky: Morris may have finally awoken and could be in store for a big second half of the season. He could find plenty of running room this week against the 92nd ranked Western Kentucky rush defense. Look for a second straight 100-yard effort from Morris with a score or two to boot.

WR: Eric Thomas Troy vs. La-Monroe: Thomas is the main man in the Troy passing game and continues to produce on a weekly basis. The Trojans throw the ball often and Thomas is targeted roughly 10 times per game. Expect another solid stat line from Thomas in Week seven.

BCS Only Sit:

QB- Zach Collaros Cincinnati vs. Louisville: Many expected big things from Collaros I his senior season, but that has not been the case thus far. He has been an adequate fantasy quarterback, but nothing special by any means. This week he faces a decent Louisville defense and could be involved in a low scoring game with the Cardinals. Expect another pedestrian effort out of Collaros this week against Louisville.

RB- Stephan Taylor Stanford vs. Washington State: While the match up against seems like a juicy one on the surface, fantasy owners might be wise to look closer. Taylor has been average at best this season and is losing a ton of goal line carries to Tyler Gaffney and Jeremy Stewart. He also loses red zone chances to the plethora of tight ends that Andrew Luck loves to find in the end zone. Add it all up and Taylor is just not a lock anymore.

WR- Da’Rick Rogers Tennessee vs. LSU: Things keep getting worse for this talented youngster. First he had to deal with more attention from defenses after Justin Hunter was lost for the season to injury, and now he has lost his starting quarterback for a few weeks. Add to the mix the fact that he will be facing a nasty LSU secondary and you have a very compelling argument to sit Rogers this week.

Non BCS Sit:

QB- JJ McDermott SMU vs. UCF:
McDermott has thrown for over 300 yards in each of the last two games to go along with seven touchdown passes during that span. These numbers are likely to decline considerably this week when he faces the #1 ranked pass defense of UCF, which allows a paltry 100 yards passing per game. The SMU passing game could be stuck in park this weekend.

RB- Branden Oliver Buffalo vs. Temple: Oliver has exploded onto the fantasy scene this year and has over 100 yards in four of his six games. He is fresh off a 179-yard and three-touchdown effort versus Ohio. All that said, it might be prudent to bench Oliver this week against Temple. The Owls rush defense has been stout and comes in ranked 14th in the nation. Oliver may post average numbers, but his ceiling is low this week.

WR- Darius Johnson SMU vs. UCF: It is really tough to bench Johnson considering he has 22 catches for 268 yards and four scores over his last two games. He could find things much tougher this week facing a stingy UCF pass defense that is the best in the country. Johnson may post decent totals, but fantasy owners should have tempered expectations this week.

JOE ARPASI

BCS Only Start:

QB- Keith Price Washington vs. Colorado: Price has been one of the biggest surprises of the 2011 season. After getting a bye week to rest his injured knees, he will be in good condition to take on the worst team in the Pac-12 in front of a rowdy Husky Stadium crowd. Running back Chris Polk will eat into Price’s production, but there should be plenty of big plays available in the air for Price to still post a nice day.

RB- Stepfan Taylor Stanford at Washington State: Although Washington State has seen some major improvements in 2011, one thing remains the same – they can’t stop the run. Although Luck will get his share of stats in the air, Taylor will get big running lanes that he can turn into big plays down the field. Since this year’s Wazzu offense can score the good news is that Taylor will not be playing a short game before the back-ups are thrown in.

WR- Rashad Greene Florida State at Duke: Greene was big last week posting 163 yards receiving and a touchdown against Wake Forest. The Duke game will be a good game to try to get EJ Manual back in passing form as he tries to return from injury. Greene has been averaging 10 receptions for 130 yards and a score over the last two weeks. This trend of production should continue against the Blue Devils.
UPDATE: Greene has an injured ankle and is doubtful for Saturday's game.

Non BCS Start:

QB- Matt Christian New Mexico State vs. Idaho: Christian has been putting up some very nice numbers over the last month. He spent week six on bye, but in week five he put up 44 fantasy points against New Mexico, and in week four he put up 24 fantasy points against San Jose State. Since taking over the starting job he has kept the offense from falling off the nice pace they have started the season with.

RB- Bernard Pierce Temple vs. Buffalo: Pierce has returned to his role of the cowbell back in the Temple offense. He now gets a Buffalo defense which is the 13th worst at giving up fantasy points to running backs when playing on the road. With a tough defense you can see Temple jumping up by halftime and then coming out in the second half and grinding down the Buffalo defense as well as the game clock.

WR- Rishard Matthews Nevada vs. New Mexico: Matthews posted his best game of the season last week with a 33 fantasy point day against UNLV. One big aspect of those numbers was Tyler Lantrip coming in off the bench and having a career day through the air. Cody Fajardo will be starting again for Nevada, and how much Mike Ball plays is still in the air. These things will keep Matthews from another 30 point performance, but expect good numbers against a pass defense that is the third worst in the country for giving up fantasy points to opposing wide receivers.

BCS Only Sit:

QB- Dan Persa Northwestern at Iowa: In last week’s game against Michigan Persa did look pretty decent throwing the ball, but his yards scrambling where held to a minimum. When the offense needed a running quarterback, Persa was sent to the sidelines. This is real troubling because each touchdown drive Northwestern had last week showcased back-up quarterback Kain Colter coming into the game as the offense showcased an option attack offense inside the redzone.

RB- Isaiah Crowell Georgia at Vanderbilt: Vanderbilt has a pretty tough defense, and they play even better at home. The Georgia ground game will have a difficult time finding the same type of running room that Alabama had against Vandy last week. Ignore the numbers allowed from last week, this will be a completely different game for the Vandy defense. The Georgia passing game will have to be used to loosen up the Vandy defense and Crowell should get a score but most likely will not hit the 100 yard mark.

WR- Jemery Ebert Northwestern at Iowa: To piggy-back the sit selection of Dan Persa, Ebert will join him in the sit column. Last week showed that Northwestern is content with playing back-up quarterback Kain Colter in the redzone and going with an option based attack. This took away many of the scoring opportunities for Ebert last week and helped contribute to him not reaching the endzone against Michigan. If Ebert is to reach the endzone this week it will be due to the big play which Iowa does not allow very often.

Non BCS Sit:

QB- Tim Jefferson Air Force vs. San Diego State: Jefferson is one of those “Steady Eddie” type of fantasy players that doesn’t wow you but still puts up consistent numbers. Now he will run into Rocky Long’s super-aggressive 3-3-5 defense. Long also likes to mix up some of the old Buddy Ryan 46 defense in his gameplan as well. They are very tough around the line of scrimmage and it will be difficult for Air Force to find consistent options to pick on within their offensive system.

RB- Zach Line SMU vs. Central Florida: Line has been the best fantasy option this season, but this week might have fantasy owners worrying. UCF is a very good defense and they can still stop the run while being spread out by SMU’s run-and-shoot offense. Look for UCF to jump out to a lead while stopping the run on defense, then the SMU offense will find itself having to rely on the passing game more as the game wears on.

WR- Cody Wilson Central Michigan vs. Eastern Michigan: Wilson has at best, been a disappointment in 2011. This is due to the play at quarterback and at times short lived production out of the running game. Eastern Michigan has been known for years for its inability to stop the run. Although this match-up looks good on paper, the Central Michigan ground game should have another good performance this week. Although Wilson will not have a bad day, he most likely won’t live up to the type of numbers fantasy owners would like to see out of this match-up.
