Like we always say, there’s something to love about each game on the slate, whether it be college football or, in the case of the video above, the middle school variety. Poor No. 21 in Yellow. That kid is going to have to live with that Youtube nightmare the rest of his life.
Don't worry, there's no trickery here. Just straight up College Fantasy Football information.
Here’s a checklist of things we’ll be looking for this weekend. Be sure to check back on Monday as we’ll revisit each game to see what we learned from each contest.
FRIDAY
Boise State at Fresno State
What to Watch: Fresno's Robbie Rouse and Jalen Saunders are red hot. This is basically Fresno's Super Bowl - Boise State in their house. Can they produce against a solid, but not spectaclar, Broncos defense?
SATURDAY
Oklahoma at Texas
What to Watch: The Longhorns will be relying heavily on youngsters QB David Ash, QB Case McCoy, WR Jaxon Shipley and RB Malcolm Brown. Can these boys become men right before our eyes? Or are they another year away from shining in the spotlight?
Maryland at Georgia Tech
What to Watch: Orwin Smith ranks 205th in the country in rushing attempts with 28. Yet, thanks to his amazing 15.1 yards per carry average, he ranks 36th in the country in rushing (423) and is tied for 11th in rushing TDs (7).
UConn at West Virginia
What to Watch: UConn gave up 479 passing yards and 5 passing TDs to Western Michigan last week at home. Now they travel to Morgantown to take on Geno Smith, Tavon Austin and Stedman Bailey. Good luck with that.
Miss State at UAB
What to Watch: It's not often you see a SEC school travel to a mid-level C-USA school in the middle of the season. Can Vick Ballard get back on track in what should be an easy match up?
Louisville at UNC
What to Watch: Can Giovanni Bernard and Dwight Jones both keep their hot streaks going?
Kentucky at South Carolina
What to Watch: This should be a feeding frenzy for Marcus Lattimore and company. Can Connor Shaw inject some life into the Gamecocks' passing game (and Alshon Jeffery)?
Florida State at Wake Forest
What to Watch: Does he play or doesn't he? We're referring to FSU QB E.J. Manuel, of course. He's listed as a gametime decision with that should injury from the Oklahoma game a few weeks back.
Memphis at Rice
What to Watch: Alright Taylor McHargue and Sam McGuffie. If you can't produce in this laugher, then we're cutting officially cutting ties.
Army at Miami (OH)
What to Watch: Army may have found a ringer in RB Raymond Maples. The guy has put up 95, 121 and 145 rushing yards over the past three weeks.
FIU at Akron
What to Watch: Hilton is healthy. How much damage can he do against a middle of the pack Zips defense?
Temple at Ball State
What to Watch: Bernard Pierce had a hiccup last week, but he should get back on track against a Ball State defense that has given up the 11th most fantasy points to RBs this season.
Bowling Green at Western Michigan
What to Watch: MAC stars unite! It's Matt Schilz, Kamar Jorden & Euguene Cooper vs. Alex Carder, Jordan White & Chleb Ravenell in what should be a high-scoring affair.
Boston College at Clemson
What to Watch: Tajh Boyd and Sammy Watkins should shred a shockingly under-achieving BC defense.
Eastern Michigan at Toledo
What to Watch: Can Dominique White lay claim to the EM RB1 job, or was last week just a one-hit wonder?
Florida at LSU
What to Watch: How many sacks with the nasty LSU defense rack up against freshman QB Jeff Driskel?
Kansas at Oklahoma State
What to Watch: How many TDs will the Triplets of Weeden, Randle and Blackmon tally in this one?
Missouri at Kansas State
What to Watch: Which QB will rush for more yards, James Franklin and Collin Klein?
Miami (FL) at Virginia Tech
What to Watch: Lamar Miller and David Wilson go head-to-head in a battle of top ACC running backs. Wilson is piling up yards, but he needs to start finding the endzone?
Arizona State at Utah
What to Watch: The Sun Devils potent offense isn't looking so potent these days. Will their slide continue on the road against the Utes?
Air Force at Notre Dame
What to Watch: The last three games, Tommy Rees has thrown for 161, 216 and 254 passing yards. That ain't gonna cut it in fantasy circles. Time to step it up and play like a Brian Kelly QB is supposed to.
Central Michigan at NC State
What to Watch: Was last week's goose-egg from WR T.J. Graham a fluke? If there was ever a time to break out of a slump, this is it - against a bad Chippewa squad at home.
Pittsburgh at Rutgers
What to Watch: Does Pitt have anyone fantasy worthy other than Ray Graham?
Arizona at Oregon State
What to Watch: This is one of those under-the-radar match ups that fantasy geeks like us crave. Nick Foles should put up big numbers against the Beavs secondary. Can Juron Criner please wake up? 29 yards last week is unacceptable.
Iowa at Penn State
What to Watch: Let's hope this isn't a repeat of 2004 when Iowa slugged out a 6-4 win in Happy Valley - one of the worst fantasy-producing games in the history of the sport.
Ohio at Buffalo
What to Watch: Tyler Tettleton owners have been waiting for him to get into the meat of the MAC schedule to see what he can do. Well, here we are...
Southern Miss at Navy
What to Watch: Playing fantasy guys against Navy is always tricky. Can Austin Davis and Kelvin Bolden continue to produce?
Kent State at N. Illinois
What to Watch: The over-under on fantasy points for Chandler Harnish in this one is officially set at 27.5. Which side are you taking?
La Tech at Idaho
What to Watch: Nick Isham landed on the fantasy map with his performance against Hawaii last week. If he can string together another strong performance, it may be time to take him seriously the rest of the way.
Vanderbilt at Alabama
What to Watch: If Trent Richardson doesn't put up 100 and 2 in this one, hate mail is coming your way, Mr. Saban.
Auburn at Arkansas
What to Watch: After last week's blow up performance, Jarius Wright will be in a ton of starting lineups on Saturday. Don't let us down.
Michigan at Northwestern
What to Watch: Shoelace in prime time? JUICY.
Texas A&M at Texas Tech
What to Watch: All eyes will be on the A&M RB situation. Is Christine Michael the new lead dog?
Iowa State at Baylor
What to Watch: RG3 should be able to name his score in this one. East Carolina at Houston
What to Watch: if Dom Davis and Case Keenum don't put up at least 700 combined passing yards, I will declare this a fantasy let down.
Troy at UL-Lafayette
What to Watch: Blaine Gautier was a hot name this week on the waiver wire. He might be a good play this week, especially if ULL finds themselves down big, and has to play in come-from-behind mode.
Marshall at UCF
What to Watch: UCF has been quiet on the fantasy front for the past few weeks. Marshall is a good place to jump-start your offense.
Arkansas State at UL-Monroe
What to Watch: Ryan Aplin has been a fantasy disappointment thus far, posting 11, 22, 13, 19 and 21 points in his first five games. It's time for a breakout performance.
UNLV at Nevada
What to Watch: It's hard to believe this is Nevada's first home game of the year. Mike Ball is due for a Vai Taua-like performance, and this match up should allow him to put up big numbers.
Georgia at Tennessee
What to Watch: A battle of top young SEC quarterbacks. Who wins the fantasy battle? Aaron Murray or Tyler Bray?
Colorado at Stanford
What to Watch: Andrew Luck should be able to put on his surgeon gloves and easily dissect the Buff's defense here. How many Stanford tight ends will score in this one?
FAU at North Texas
What to Watch: If Lance Dunbar gets another 40 carries like last week, he might run for 300 against the Owls.
Ohio State at Nebraska
What to Watch: This game has very little fantasy juice. Any game involving Ohio State has very little fantasy juice. God help us when the Buckeyes face equally boring Penn State in a few weeks.
Wyoming at Utah State
What to Watch: Can Robert Turbin continue to produce at a high level with a limited number of carries? Think how dangerous he's be with 20-25 touches per game!
Syracuse at Tulane
What to Watch: Only a Big East school would find themselves scheduling an away game at Tulane in October.
San Jose State at BYU
What to Watch: Will Riley Nelson breath some life into the BYU offense?
TCU at San Diego State
What to Watch: The suddenly porous Horned Frog defense could have their hands full with Ronnie Hillman, Ryan Lindley and company.
Washington State at UCLA
What to Watch: Marshall Lobbestael needs to continue to play well if he wants to hold off the now-healthy Jeff Tuel.
