Vontaze Burfict - American Bad Ass?
The CFG machine head butts our way into Week 5, ready for 12-plus hours of Saturday college football goodness.  Like we always say, there’s something to love about each game on the docket.  Here’s a checklist of things we’ll be looking for.

Be sure to check back on Monday as we’ll revisit each game to see what we learned from each contest.

FRIDAY

Utah State at BYU
What to Watch:  Texas and Utah ran all over BYU.  Will Robert Turbin and company find similar success, or will the Cougars' defense rise up like they did against UCF last week?

SATURDAY

Texas A&M at Arkansas
What to Watch: Jeff Fuller has been quiet this season.  Cyrus Gray was a non-factor last week against Oklahoma State.  Can both rebound in what could be a shootout with the Razorbacks?

MInnesota at Michigan
What to Watch: Will Denard Robinson rush for 100 or 200 in this one?

Northwestern at Illinois
What to Watch: All eyes will be on the return of Dapper Dan Persa.  But another thing to watch is the Illini RB situation.  It's getting crowded back there with Donovann Young, Jason Ford and Troy Pollard all sharing carries.

MIssissippi State at Georgia
What to Watch: Isaiah Crowell is starting to find his groove, but he's not getting into the redzone enough to please fantasy owners.  Can he find paydirt this week?

Penn State at Indiana
What to Watch: Eastern Michigan put nine in the box against PSU last week, forcing them to throw.  Will Indiana take a similar approach?  Silas Redd owners would like to know.

Rutgers at Syracuse
What to Watch: Savon Huggins' two fumbles last week earned him a spot on the bench.  Will he get a second chance or did he lose his job for good?

Toledo at Temple
What to Watch: Can the Temple defense slow down Eric Page?  Will Bernard Pierce keep up his torrid pace?

Tulane at Army
What to Watch: Orleans Darkwa rushed for a grand total of 10 yards last week against Duke.  Is it time to disregard him as a fantasy option?

Texas Tech at Kansas
What to Watch: Who will fill the shoes of injured receiver Darrin Moore?  Eric Ward?  Someone else?

Air Force at Navy
What to Watch: The Battle of the Triple Options.  Will these two teams combine for 600 rushing yards?

Kentucky at LSU
What to Watch: How do the carries get split between Spencer Ware & Michael Ford?

Buffalo at Tennessee
What to Watch: Is this the week Tauren Poole gets his act together and puts up a nice number?

Cincinnati at Miami (OH)
What to Watch: Will D.J. Woods remain MIA in the Bearcats' passing game?

Akron at Eastern Michigan
What to Watch: Two sneaky running backs go at in Javon Chisholm and Javonti Greene.

Kent State at Ohio
What to Watch: Don't look now but the Bobcats' offense is fantasy friendly.  Will QB Tyler Tettleton and RB Ryan Boykin continue to impress in MAC play?

Nevada at Boise State
What to Watch: What kind of lickin' will the Broncos put on the Pack on the blue turf?  You know Kellen Moore & Company are pissed after Nevada ruined their national title hopes last year.

Auburn at South Carolina
What to Watch: If Alshon Jeffery can't score on the Tigers' woeful defense, well then he might not score all season.

Baylor at Kansas State
What to Watch: K-State defensive stats have been impressive so far.  RG3 will provide a stiff test to tell if they are for real or not.

SMU at TCU
What to Watch: With Cole Beasley unlikely to play due to a knee injury, will Darius Johnson step up and produce?

Georgia Tech at North Carolina
What to Watch: The Yellow Jackets have put up video game-like numbers during their non-conference slate.  Can they continue the trend against a viable ACC defense on the road?

Bowling Green at West Virginia
What to Watch: How many fantasy points can Matt Schilz, Kamar Jorden and Eugene Cooper put up in garbage time?

Arizona at USC
What to Watch: It's been a few weeks now since Juron Criner had his appendectomy.  It's time for him to get back to his dominating ways.  Zona is going to have to score a bunch of points to keep up with USC in this one.

Western Michigan at Connecticut
What to Watch: Can Alex Carder carve up a decent Big East defense on the road?

Towson at Maryland
What to Watch: After getting shut down against Temple last week, Davin Meggett better play with his hair on fire in this one against an overmatched Towson squad.

Michigan State at Ohio State
What to Watch: Is this a Braxton Miller coming out party? If not, is there anything to get excited about from a fantasy standpoint with the Bucks?

Bethune-Cookman at Miami (FL)
What to Watch: Let's see if the Canes' defense can lay the wood on this cupcake and rack up points for fantasy owners who were willing to pick them up this week as a spot start.

Washington State at Colorado
What to Watch: Rodney Stewart has more receiving yardage (304) than rushing yardage (278) through four games.  And he has ZERO touchdowns.  Can he get off the schneid this week against a poor Wazzu defense?

San Jose State at Colorado State
What to Watch: Is SJSU running back Brandon Rutley for real?  The dude has scored 17, 18 and 37 fantasy points over the past three weeks.

Arkansas State at Western Kentucky
What to Watch: Sun Belt play kicks off.  It's time for Ryan Aplin and Bobby Rainey to start paying off for owners who invested a high draft pick in them.

Clemson at Virginia Tech
What to Watch: Auburn, Florida State and now V-Tech... Tajh Boyd and Sammy Watkins can't possibly do it for the third week in a row against quality competition, can they?

Ball State at Oklahoma
What to Watch: We all know the Sooners are going to put up a ton of points in this one.  But how are they going to go about doing it?  Will Whaley see enough carries for fantasy owners?  Will they use this game to iron out wrinkles in the passing game?

Texas at Iowa State
What to Watch: After a bye week, will Malcolm Brown continue to see a big workload?

North Texas at Tulsa
What to Watch: What will Lance Dunbar do for an encore?  His performance against Indiana last week was one for the ages.

Washington at Utah
What to Watch: Will John White cement himself as an every week fantasy starter?

Florida Atlantic at UL-Lafayette
What to Watch: We had a Ladarius Green sighting last week. Can he make it onto the fantasy radar two weeks in a row?

Duke at FIU
What to Watch: With TY Hilton banged up and QB Wesley Carroll out, will RB Kedrick Rhodes carry the offense?

Hawaii at La Tech
What to Watch: Bryant Moniz woke up from his fantasy slumber last week with SEVEN touchdown passes.  The Warriors take their show on the road to Ruston.  It's a long flight from the Islands to the Bayou.  Will Hawaii be jet-lagged?

Memphis at Middle Tennessee
What to Watch: Here, we have promising under-the-radar Blue Raiders (Logan Kilgore, Ben Cunningham and Sancho McDonald) facing off against one of the worst defenses in the land.

UAB at Troy
What to Watch: Troy WR Eric Thomas only has 13 catches on the season, but four of them went for scores.  Can he continue to turn fantasy heads in this one?

Rice at Southern Miss
What to Watch: After opening the season with Texas, Purdue and Baylor, Rice gets a more manageable match up. QB Taylor McHargue has scored 21 and 24 fantasy points the last couple weeks.  Can he score in the 20's again?

Alabama at Florida
What to Watch: Some are benching Trent Richardson this week due to this match up in the Swamp?  Will he make those fantasy owners like foolish?  Or like geniuses?

Nebraska at Wisconsin
What to Watch: Taylor Martinez faces his stiffest competition yet.  Is this the game where he gets knocked around, and the injuries that plagued him in 2010 start to creep into the picture?

North Carolina at East Carolina
What to Watch: Interesting ACC vs. CUSA battle here.  Will Dwight Jones and Giovanni Bernard have a field day against a bad Pirates' defense?

New Mexico State at New Mexico
What to Watch: There's actually some fantasy juice here!  In a battle of wide receivers, New Mexico's Deon Long looks to out-do NMSU's Taveon Rogers for in-state supremacy.

Notre Dame at Purdue
What to Watch: Michael Floyd was invisible last week against Pitt's pitiful pass defense.  Can he get back on track against the Boilers in prime time?

Ole Miss at Fresno State
What to Watch: This is a long road trip for the struggling Rebs.  Will they play inspired ball or go through the motions?  Will Robbie Rouse be able to take advantage?

UCLA at Stanford
What to Watch: Seemingly every time the Cardinal get into the redzone, Andrew Luck looks for one of his tight ends.  Will this be the week that RB Stepfan Taylor gets some more love around the goal line?

Oregon State at Arizona State
What to Watch: Can Brock Osweiler shred a bad Beaver defense?  Can he connect with WR Aaron Pflugrad for a few long ones?  This duo has been quiet the past couple weeks.  Will bad ass Sun Devil linebacker Vontaze Burfict head butt anyone this week?

It's quite a Saturday slate!  If you just can't get enough football and got a hankerin' for some NFL action on Sunday, you really should check out our brother site: ColdHardFootballFacts.com.

Cold, Hard Football Facts.com’s real and spectacular picks might be the surest bet in sports. Since the start of the 2009 season, they've posted 23 winning weeks ATS vs. just 8 losing weeks.
They publish and document every single one of their picks at CHFF Insider.

Perhaps even more impressive, they've produced 17 what they call Big Weeks against a total of just five Tiny Weeks. Keep in mind, they don’t pick and choose their spots and pull all kind of chintzy stunts like the guy with the 800 number.

They put their hefty ass on the line, every pick, every week, and document all of them right on CHFF Insider, ribbed for your statistical pleasure. No tricks. No BS. Just plenty of milky bosoms, hot chicks and Cold, Hard Football Facts to guide you down the path to gridiron enlightenment.
