Championship weekend is in the books.  What did we learn from the final big weekend in College Fantasy Football?  We revisit the questions we posed heading into the weekend

1.  Will Alex Carder Play Against Akron?
He's dealing with an injured throwing shoulder and news from Western Michigan camp has been hard to come by.  Start him at your own risk.

What we learned:  Alas, Carder did not wind up playing.  Fantasy owners that were paying attention on game day were able to make a last minute switch.  Others watched in horror as his back up, Tyler VanTubbergen amassed 7 total touchdowns.

2.  How About Nick Foles?
Here's another quarterback dealing with an inopportune injury.  Arizona's QB has a rib contusion that knocked him out of last week's game.  The coaches are hinting that he might play but it sounds like he will be limited, and could slip snaps.  It's too bad, as Foles has a great match up this week against Louisiana-Lafayette.

What we learned: Foles played through the injury and passed for 352 yards and 3 scores.

3.  Will Houston-Tulsa Put Up The Fireworks We Crave?
You can bet that Case Keenum, Charles Sims, Patrick Edwards and G.J. Kinne are in many fantasy lineups this week.  Phil Steele is calling for a 47-40 shootout to the delight of owners.  Will this game live up to its billing?

What we learned:  Well, Houston held up to their side of the bargain racking up 48 points.  Keenum passed for 457 yards and 5 scores, with Edwards snagging 4 of them.  Tulsa had a miserable showing, with Kinne only accounting for only 220 yards of offense and 1 TD.

4.  Will the "Belldozer" Continue To Haunt Finch and Landry Jones Owners?
Back up Oklahoma QB Blake Bell rushed for four touchdowns last week.  Not a great development for those relying on Landry Jones and Roy Finch this week.  Will Bell continue to get the call around the goal line?

What we learned:  The Sooner offense is officially a fantasy disaster.  They only hit pay dirt twice against the mighty Cyclones - and the Belldozer scored them both.

5.  The Future Is Now For David Graves, Hawaii
With Bryan Moniz out for the season, David Graves and Shane Austin split snaps last week.  Graves was clearly more effective and was named the starter for this week.  He was a hot waiver wire pick up for some desperate owners looking for some late season magic.

What we learned:  Graves continued to show promise.  He passed for 260 yards and 2 scores (with 2 INTs), and added some valuable rushing stats to his total (57 rushing yards and 1 TD).  That's 26 fantasy points for those of you scoring at home.

6.  Will The Real Shoelace Please Stand Up?
After a lights out September, Denard Robinson slogged his way through most of the second half of the season. There was word that Devin Gardner was going to see more playing time.  Then last week's 38-fantasy point explosion happened.  Can he do it again against his arch-rival?

What we learned:  YES HE CAN!  D-Rob had another electric performance, putting up 48 fantasy points - his outing of the year.

7.  Montee Ball Faces Toughest Test Yet
Montee "wrecking" Ball has cruised into the records this season against a pretty easy schedule.  This week, with the Big Ten championship berth on the line, he faces one of the better defenses in the country.  Will Ball come through for fantasy owners when they need it most?  Or will this be the week he finally disappoints?

What we learned: Ball came through in a big way for fantasy owners, rushing for 156 yards and 4 touchdowns against the Nittany Lions.

8.  Is Sammy Watkins Really 100 Percent?
Watkins missed last week's game with a shoulder injury.  He's been cleared to play this week, but given his bum shoulder and the match up against a tough Gamecocks defense, is he worth playing?

What we learned: Watkins and the Clemson offense continued to struggle.  The star wide receiver only mustered up 6 fantasy points in the blow out loss to South Carolina.

9.  How's Gio's Noggin?
Gio Bernard left last week's Thursday night game against Virginia Tech with a mild concussion.  He's been practicing and is said to be ready to roll against Duke.  Can he recapture some of his early season magic and post a good number?

What we learned: His noggin appeared to be just fine.  The stud Tar Heel RB accumulated 34 touches for 221 total yards and a TD.

10.  Will The Trojans Run It Up?
USC plays it's final game of the season on Saturday night as they're ineligible for the Pac-12 title game and a bowl game.  Will they try to make a season-ending statement against their crosstown rival?  Matt Barkley, Robert Woods and Marqise Lee owners sure hope so.

What we learned: Does 50-0 count as a statement?  We think so.  Barkley, Woods and Lee all made their fantasy owners quite happy in this laugher.
