KEVIN MOUNT BCS Only Start: QB: Nick Foles Arizona vs. Arizona State: Foles is basically good for a 300 yard passing game as soon as he steps on the field this season, recording such numbers in eight of ten games. KEVIN MOUNT

BCS Only Start:

QB: Nick Foles Arizona vs. Arizona State: Foles is basically good for a 300 yard passing game as soon as he steps on the field this season, recording such numbers in eight of ten games. He could easily light up an Arizona State pass defense that has struggled recently and just gave up almost 500 yards passing to Washington State. Look for a big yardage total from Foles this week.

RB: Le’Veon Bell Michigan State vs. Indiana: Bell seems to have taken the lead in the Michigan State backfield and is coming off two straight quality fantasy performances. He could find a ton of open space this week against a miserable Indiana defense that allows almost 250 yards per game. Bell seems to have a nose for the end zone and will likely get there on multiple occasions against the Hoosiers.

WR: Kenny Stills Oklahoma vs. Baylor: This will be the 1st game for Oklahoma without Ryan Broyles and the Sooners will likely turn to Stills for even more production. He was already heavily involved in the passing game before the Broyles injury, but should see even more looks from Landry Jones the rest of the way. The Baylor pass defense is very soft and should be no match for the Oklahoma passing game. Fantasy owners will probably like the new Kenny Still very much.

Non BCS Start:

QB: Ryan Radcliff Central Michigan vs. Toledo: Radcliff has been on a tear recently. He has thrown for over 300 yards in three of the last four games and has ten touchdown passes during that span. He could have a nice outing against a Toledo defense that gives up a ton of yards and scores in the passing game. Look for Radcliff to eclipse the 300-yard mark once again in Week 12.

RB: Branden Oliver Buffalo vs. Akron: Oliver has gone over 100 yards rushing in six of ten games this season and seems likely to do so again this week versus Akron. The Zips rank 106th in the nation against the run and will probably have a hard time dealing with a steady dose of Oliver this weekend. Fantasy owners should expect to see Oliver top the 100-yard plateau and add a score or two in this match up.

WR: Jalen Saunders Fresno State vs. Hawaii: Saunders has scored at least one touchdown in four straight games, including a 174 yard and two score performance last week versus New Mexico State. His chances for a fifth straight game with a score look good against a suspect Hawaii pass defense. Expect Saunders to shine this week.

BCS Only Sit:

QB- Denard Robinson Michigan vs. Nebraska:
Robinson is a shell of his former self from a fantasy perspective and things don’t look to turn around this week versus Nebraska. He has not rushed for more than 63 yards in his last four games and has been losing snaps to Devin Gardner. The Huskers defense should be ready for Robinson and likely make him try to beat them with his arm. The forecast for Robinson’s fantasy value looks bleak.

RB- Giovani Bernard North Carolina vs. Virginia Tech: Bernard has put up #1 type fantasy numbers for most of the season, but has struggled in two of the past three games. Things don’t get any easier this week with Virginia Tech on the docket. The Hokies give up just over 100 yards rushing per game and seem to be getting stronger on the defensive side of the ball.

WR- AJ Jenkins Illinois vs. Wisconsin: Jenkins started the season on fire and was a top three-fantasy wide receiver for the first six weeks of the year. He has slowed down considerably and has not scored in his past four contests. Jenkins faces a tall task this week against the #2 ranked pass defense of Wisconsin. His upside is limited this week and should not be counted on to do anything spectacular.

Non BCS Sit:

QB- Kolton Browning La-Monroe vs. Florida International:
Browning has shown flashes of brilliance this season, but also really struggled at other times. This week looks like one in which he could struggle to produce top-notch fantasy numbers against FIU.

RB- Kedrick Rhodes FIU vs. La-Monroe: Rhodes has been very consistent at being inconsistent. He has had one good game followed by one bad game for the past seven weeks, and this week falls on the bad game side. He is also facing a touch La-Monroe rush defense that ranks 11th in the entire country. Avoid Rhodes this week and look elsewhere.

WR- Tyron Carrier Houston vs. SMU: Carrier is the 2nd leading receiver for the potent Houston passing attack, but is coming off a real stinker last week against Tulane. He is a real boom or bust type player and might not be worth the risk this week against SMU.

JOE ARPASI

BCS Only Start:

QB- James Franklin Missouri vs. Texas Tech: Franklin will look to continue his nice streak of games this week against Texas Tech. He hit a speed bump last week against Texas but this was a difficult match-up. You can’t say the same thing this week, since the wheels have been falling off Tech since their upset win of Oklahoma. This one looks to be a lock for a great fantasy performance.

RB- Eddy Lacy Alabama vs. Georgia Southern:
This game will be a blowout and how much playing time Trent Richardson gets will be key for Lacy’s success. It’s hard to picture Richardson playing much in the second half. Lacy will get his carries in the first half, then will be the feature back in the second half. If your rushers have been hit with the injury bug, Lacy may be your weekly band-aid this week to take you on the next round of the playoffs.

WR- Jeremy Ebert Northwestern vs. Minnesota:
Ebert has been on a tear over the last two weeks, totally 355 yards and three touchdowns. The schedule serves up another nice match-up for Northwestern with Minnesota coming to town. The ground game will get its share of the production, but Ebert will still be good for some big plays against a poor Gopher defense.

Non BCS Start:

QB- Ryan Radcliff Central Michigan vs. Toledo: As good as the Toledo offense has been lately, their defense has been equally terrible. They have given up a minimum of 60 points over the last two weeks. Radcliff has come on as the season has progressed and he will be counted on to throw the ball as the Chips try to keep up with the high-powered Toledo offense.

RB- Tyler Smith Rice vs. Tulane: Smith should find plenty of running room this week after facing Big Ten foe Northwestern last week. Tulane is giving up 23 fantasy points per game to running backs on the road this season. If you’re in a deep league or in need of a flex player Smith may provide that deep option some fantasy rosters need.

WR- Cody Hoffman BYU vs. New Mexico State: With the exception of a week 9 match-up against TCU, Hoffman has been strong over the last month. In week seven he posted 162-1, week eight he had 71-2, and last week he posted 114-2. This week should see a continuation of this trend. New Mexico State can score points on offense, and their defense is giving up an average of 38 fantasy points per game on the road this season to receivers.

BCS Only Sit:

QB- Tajh Boyd Clemson at NC State: Boyd has been great this season but things look murky this week. Many of his playmakers are banged up. On paper NC State plays tough defense and their vulnerability has been on the ground. With this game at NC State it may be difficult for Boyd to find room to make plays in the Wolfpack secondary.

RB- Fitzgerald Toussaint Michigan vs. Nebraska: Toussaint put up nice numbers last week against Illinois, rushing for 192 yards and one score. But this week brings Nebraska to the table. The Black Shirt defense is still working to bring back the old luster, but Toussaint has taught us one thing this season, he can’t be trusted. After games where he scored 17 fantasy points or more he has followed up those performances with an average of 9.3 fantasy points in the following game.

WR- Chris Givens Wake Forest vs. Maryland: Givens has hit the wall these last three weeks, scoring less than 10 fantasy points in all of those contests. The emergence of the ground game has hampered the type of fantasy output we saw earlier in the season, and we can expect more of the same this week. Maryland is poor at rush defense and you will likely see the ground game steel many scoring opportunities yet again. The way things have been going it’s going to be very hard to find a playable match-up for Givens the rest of the season, and you may be faced with the difficult decision of dropping him come waiver wire time.

Non BCS Sit:

QB- Jonathan Perry UAB vs. Southern Miss:
Perry had a great showing last week, throwing for 410 yards and four touchdowns. That was against Memphis, arguably the worst team in division I football. Southern Miss will provide a much tougher match-up and its more likely that Perry will hit 200 yards and one or two scores. These are not the type of numbers you are looking for in your playoff quarterback.

RB- Zach Line SMU at Houston: News has come out this week of Line being injured and missing practice time. This comes off the tails of a 135 yard performance last week. Even if Line is cleared to play there’s several problems. Houston is going to rack up points and they will take the SMU out of a balanced attack as SMU tries to keep pace with the Cougars. Plus the Houston defense has been a little stingy lately and they will likely not give up MAC defense type of numbers.

WR- Josh Boyce TCU vs. Colorado State: The TCU passing game exploded last week against Boise State, and Boyce was the head of that machine racking up 163 yards and three scores. Although this week’s match-up is much nicer than last week’s, don’t expect the same aerial fireworks. Against teams that TCU has a personnel advantage they tend to use the ground game far more extensively and the passing attack becomes average at best. Boyce could still reach the endzone this week, but a yardage total under 100 yards is more than likely to be what he gets.
