On Friday, we laid out some key storylines to watch for over the weekend.  Now, we revisit each item to see what we learned.

Oklahoma State at Iowa State
Question:  Will the Pokes try to make a Heisman statement for Brandon Weeden in this one?  The door to the stiff-armed trophy is wide open and this is a national TV showcase game.

Answer: Well, Weeden did his job by passing for nearly 500 yards, but the Pokes came up short in overtime.  With the shocking loss, Weeden's Heisman campaign takes a huge hit.

Citadel at South Carolina
Question:  Many fantasy owners are relying on Brandon Wilds to come through in what appears to be a great match up.  Will Alshon Jeffery finally show up on the stat sheet in a big way?

Answer: Wilds came through for owners by accounting for 164 total yards and 2 touchdowns.  Even Alshon got into the action, catching 5 balls for 81 yards and a dandy one-handed TD grab.

Kansas at Texas A&M
Question: Is the match up too good to be true?  Cyrus Gray owners sure hope not.

Answer: Gray rushed for 94 yards and 3 TDs before going out in the first half with a shoulder injury.

Georgia Southern at Alabama
Question:  How much will Trent Richardson play in this laugher?  Can he do enough damage in the first half to appease fantasy owners?

Answer:  Richardson played plenty as Georgia Southern hung around throughout the game.  It was a perfect recipe for fantasy production from the Tide's star as he was fed the ball 32 times for 175 yards and 2 scores.

SMU at Houston
Question:  What will the lack of Zach Line mean to the Mustang passing game?  Could this benefit Darius Johnson and Cole Beasley?

Answer: Line's absence didn't help anything.  SMU was shut down in this one, only scoring 1 measly touchdown on the day.

Texas Tech at Missouri
Question:  How will the suspension of head coach Gary Pinkel affect the offense?  Will it be a non-factor?

Answer:  They got off to a slow start, but as the game went on QB James Franklin took matters into his own hands.  He passed for 172, rushed for 152, and accounted for 4 total touchdowns.

Western Kentucky at North Texas
Question:  How healthy is Lance Dunbar? He has been upgraded from doubtful to probable on the injury report.  Is this coach speak or is he really ready to roll?

Answer: Dunbar was clearly not ready to roll.  He only rushed the ball 3 times for 2 yards.

USC at Oregon
Question:  How will the weather affect the offenses in this one?  They're calling for cold with potential rain and ice.  Can Robert Woods make an impact or will his injury severely impact his productivity?

Answer: Woods seemed pretty healthy as he scored 2 clutch touchdowns in the upset over the Ducks.  The weather was not a factor in slowing down the offenses, who moved the ball at will.

Arizona at Arizona State
Question:  Can these two in-state rivals scrap the defense and just decide to put on an offensive show?  That sure would help fantasy owners needed big efforts from Nick Foles, Juron Criner, Brock Osweiler and Cameron Marshall.

Answer: These two schools put on a decent show, combining for 117 pass attempts and 880 passing yards.

Fresno State at Hawaii
Question:  With Bryant Moniz done for the season, who will play QB for the Warriors - Shane Austin or David Graves?  Is Royce Pollard healthy enough to be effective?

Answer: Both Austin and Graves played, but neither was particularly effective.  Hawaii only passed for 244 yards in the game.
