Champs Quarterbacks: 1. Alex Carder, Western Michigan- These mid-week MAC games are getting crazier each and every week. Carder was by far the champ of the week, posting 548 yards and 7 TD passes. Not to mention, he also added a touchdown on the ground. (Hint: Harnish and Carder both in action next week= must starts) 2. Collin Klein, Kansas St

Champs

Quarterbacks:
1.     Alex Carder, Western Michigan- These mid-week MAC games are getting crazier each and every week. Carder was by far the champ of the week, posting 548 yards and 7 TD passes. Not to mention, he also added a touchdown on the ground. (Hint: Harnish and Carder both in action next week= must starts)
2.     Collin Klein, Kansas State- I don’t think there is one player in the nation that means more to his team than Klein. He had a decent day passing with 282 yards and a touchdown. Most of the damage done was with his legs as Klein ran the ball 35 times for over 100 yards and 5 TDs.
3.     Casey Pachall, TCU- The sophomore QB really bounced back from a lackluster performance last week to dominate Boise through the air. With the run game shut down, Pachall racked up 473 yards and 5 TDs for the upset.

Running Backs:
1.     Adonis Thomas, Toledo- Surprise, Surprise. Another big performance from the MAC.Thomas did it all for Toledo as he totaled nearly 300 yards of offense with 3 scores.
2.     Rodney Stewart, Colorado- The senior running back had his best performance of the season, rushing for 181 yards and 3 TDs to get Colorado their first win in conference play this year.
3.     LaMichael James, Oregon- Even with that bulky elbow brace on his arm, James still did his thing as he compiled 146 yards and 3 TDs in the big win over Stanford.

Wide Receivers:
1.     Jordan White, Western Michigan- White has really come on as of late with 5 TDs in his past two games.
2.     Marquess Wilson, Washington State- 223 yards and 3 TD receptions all with a freshman QB seeing his first significant snaps of the season.
3.     Jeremy Ebert, Northwestern- Doesn’t matter if Kain Colter or Dan Persa is the starting QB, Ebert is the top target and will get his numbers each and every week; 208 yards, 2 TDs.

Tight Ends:
1.     Tyler Eifert, Notre Dame- Sort of a down week for tight ends, but Eifert was the top target in the win over a pathetic Maryland squad; 8 catches for 83 yards and a touchdown.
2.     Garrett Hoskins, Eastern Michigan- Tight End U? This is now the second straight week an Eastern TE has recorded two receiving touchdowns in a game.
3.     Nick Melillo, Kentucky- By far the best performance of the year for the senior TE. It’s an understatement to say the Kentucky offense is bad, but Melillo was a bright spot on Saturday; 59 yards, 1 TD.

Chumps

Quarterbacks:
1.     Seth Doege, Texas Tech- It seems as if I am finding Doege on this list practically every week, whether it be good or bad. This week=Bad. 169 yards and 0 TDs in this offense is not getting it done, especially against a very questionable Oklahoma State defense.
2.     Dominique Davis, ECU- Davis just has not lived up to the hype he had coming into this season. 133 yards passing and only 1 touchdown against UTEP is not good.
3.     Bryant Moniz, Hawaii- Moniz suffered an ankle injury that looks to sideline him for the remainder of the year; an enormous blow to both his fantasy owners and the Hawaii offense.

Running Backs:
1.     Rolandan Finch, Boston College- Ever since the 243-yard performance two weeks ago, Finch has come back down to earth. Andre Williams got the majority of the work on Saturday.
2.     Malcolm Agnew, Oregon State- Maybe we expected too much of the freshman after a couple of breakout games this year. Agnew has failed to run for over 30 yards in his last three outings, including rushing for only 3 yards on 6 carries against Cal.
3.     Lance Dunbar, North Texas- After scoring at least 1 touchdown in each of his past five games, Dunbar was shutout in the win over Troy; only 38 yards on the ground.

Wide Receivers:
1.     Robert Woods, USC- By far Woods’ worst performance of the season, statistically; 2 catches for 5 yards. Marqise Lee was the primary target against Washington.
2.     Tyron Carrier, Houston- Carrier really was not needed in the blowout over Tulane. I’m sure owners expected more when they saw Houston put up 73 points too.
3.     Alshon Jeffery, South Carolina- How Shaw does not just throw the ball up to this guy is unbelievable, considering the Calvin Johnson-like skills he possesses. That was his third game in a row in which Jeffery failed to record a touchdown.

Tight Ends:
1.     Orson Charles, Georgia- This might be my biggest disappointment of the entire year. Considering he has a close relationship with his QB and with the amount of talent he has, I just expected a lot better. Maybe it’s the improved run game, but this is now the second time this season where Charles only caught a single pass.
