New to the List
Jeremiah Masoli (Oregon)
The skinny: Looking for a nice running QB? Masoli could be your man. In the past two weeks, here are his rushing statlines: 24-170-1 and 8-85-1. Worried about the return of Justin Roper? Well, reports out of Oregon are that Masoli has earned the starting job.
Last week: 24 points
This week: at Cal
Levi Brown (Troy)
The skinny: Brown has filled in nicely for the injured Jamie Hampton. Schedule-wise, he would be a good QB option in 3 of the next 4 weeks.
Last week: 27 points
This week: at La-Monroe
New to the List (but possibly just One Hit Wonders)
Ricky Dobbs (Navy)
The skinny: Dobbs filled in for the injured Jarod Bryant, who was filling in for the injured Kaipo-Noa, and rushed for 42-224-4 against SMU. However, remember that Dobbs is the 3rd string QB. If either Kaipo-Noa (who is back at practice) or Bryant get healthy, he might be relegated to the bench.UPDATE - sounds like Dobbs could be a risky start this week as Kaipo might get the nod. Stay tuned.
Last week: 49 points
This week: vs. Temple
Mike Teel (Rutgers)
The skinny: Teel has been an absolute bust up until Saturday when he exploded for 6 TD passes against Pitt. Keep an eye on him after the bye week as he does have Syracuse and Army left on the schedule.
