I don't know about you, but when I was following the games on Saturday I noticed a few too many ZEROS in my lineup's scoring column.

Malcolm Brown. Zero.
Royce Pollard. Zero.
Lance Lewis. Zero

Maddening stuff.

Ryan Broyles is lost for the year.  Doug Martin went down early with an injury and didn't return.  Bernard Pierce was hospitalized after an apparent concussion.  Dan Persa was injured yet again.  The hits just kept on coming.

Did you survive the carnage?  Still in the playoff hunt?  Here are a few items we learned over the weekend.

Ladarius Green Ain't Dead Yet
The enigma that is UL-Lafayette tight end Ladarius Green had a monster game on Saturday, catching 13 calls for 136 yards and 2 touchdowns.  This follows a 0-0-0 performance when we learned his shoulder was bothering him again.  What are we to make of this?  Well, we don't have long to ask questions.  Green faces Arkansas State this week before an untimely bye week and a November 26th date with Arizona.  In other words, you'll likely only have one more week to consider starting him.

Sun Belt QBs Come Up Big
We love the Sun Belt here at CFG.  Each and every year, a few jems emerge that blow up in the all-important fantasy month of November.  Last week, a trio of signal callers from this much-maligned conference blew up: Ryan Aplin (42 fantasy points), Blaine Gautier (36), Kolton Browning (29).  Start 'em if you got 'em in the fantasy playoffs.

Kain Colter Is Red Hot
If you can start Colter as a WR in your league, I highly suggest you take advantage of this sneaky situation.  He's posted 23, 25, 28 and 33 fantasy points over his last four games playing a hybrid of positions (QB/RB/WR).  And three of those games were against solid defenses of Iowa, Penn State and Nebraska.  Next up is Rice.  And Dan Persa is banged up.  Colter could be playing quite a bit under center in this one.

Malcolm Brown Out, Joe Bergeron In?
Brown was a surprise scratch on Saturday due to a toe injury, enraging fantasy owners everywhere.  What was even more infuriating was the fact that the Longhorns rushed for about 900 yards on Texas Tech in his absence.  Leading the way was fellow freshman Joe Bergeron (29-191-3).  He now has 327 yards and 5 scores over the past two outings.  Will the fantasy gods atone for their nasty behavior last week and at least keep out Brown for one more week?  Sure would be nice to start Bergeron with a little bit of confidence this week against Missouri.

Ohio State Has Found Something In Braxton Miller
We thought he might come around in the second half of the season, and that's precisely what is happening here.  Miller can't throw the ball a lick, but he sure can tuck it and run.  He's rushed for 204 yards and 4 touchdowns over the past two weeks en route to 29 and 25 fantasy point outputs.  He faces the Boilermakers this week.  Not a bad match up.

Adonis Thomas Is The Man Again
So all we heard last week from the Toledo coaching staff was how they were going to evenly split the carries between Adonis Thomas, Morgan Williams and David Fluellen.  WRONG.  Oh those bastardly Rockets.  They had plans to make Adonis their workhorse all along.  Thomas carried the ball 25 times for 160 yards and 2 scores, while Williams and Fluellen combined for 15 totes.

Hawaii Receiver Roulette
So last week Royce Pollard suffered multiple injuries early in the game and didn't log a catch.  Did anyone step up in his absence?  Justin Clapp started to emerge, but then he cracked a rib.  Jeremiah Ostrowski, Billy Ray Stutzmann and Trevor Davis all put up pedestrian numbers.  If Pollard and Clapp are unable to go, Ostrowski is probably your best bet.  Risky, though.

Jaz Reynolds, Come On Down
With Ryan Broyles out for the year and Kenny Stills dealing with a hamstring, Reynolds figures to be a key component in the Sooners' passing game after their bye week.  He's put up 17, 19 and 17 fantasy points on limited targets the past three weeks.  Stash him away for the playoffs if possible.

Show Lavon Brazill Some Love
It's quite possible that LaVon Brazill is the most under-rated fantasy wide receiver in the country this year.  The Ohio Bobcat senior has scored at least 15 fantasy points in each of his last 8 games.  And he's got three very tempting match ups against Central Michigan, Bowling Green and Miami (OH) on the upcoming slate.
