Quarterbacks

Wesley Carroll (Florida International)- from Mississippi State
Any time an SEC player transfers into the Sun Belt, you take notice.  Carroll has a good chance to beat out Wayne Younger for the starting role.  If he can win the job, he’ll have some fun playing pitch-and-catch with a healthy T.Y. Hilton this fall.

Robert Marve (Purdue)- from Miami
The much-ballyhooed Hurricane transfer could be stepping into a nice situation here as the Boilermakers have produced a decent crop of fantasy QBs over the years.

Willy Korn (Marshall)- from Clemson
Korn was a top recruit for Clemson who never panned out.  If he can supplant Brian Anderson for the starting job, he could put up some nice stats in the defensively-challenged C-USA

Steven Threet (Arizona State)- from Michigan
The Sun Devils claim to be opening up the passing attack this fall, which could make them a relevant fantasy breeding ground again.  Former Wolverine Steven Threet had a terrible spring game, and faces stiff competition for the QB job from sophomore Brock Osweiler.

Chris Harper (Kansas State)- from Oregon
Harper seemed like a perfect fit for coach Bill Snyder's offense as a dual-threat QB.  However, in a somewhat surprising move, he was moved over to wide receiver this spring.  He holds little fantasy value at WR, but we suggest you keep him on your fantasy radar in case he switches back to QB down the line

Philip Bates (Ohio)- from Iowa State
Bates is an intriguing prospect who will battle the oft-injured Boo Jackson for reps this August

Corbin Louks (Nevada)- from Utah
Louks is a talented athlete who could find playing time on defense in 2010.  But come 2011, when Colin Kaepernick has graduated, Louks could become a fantasy factor at the quarterback position.

Other QB Transfers:
J.J. McDermott (SMU) - from New Mexico State
Cannon Smith (Memphis) - from Miami (FL)
Clay Belton (Maryland) - from Miami (OH)
Taylor Cook (Rice) - from Miami (FL)
M.J. McPeek (Colorado State) - from Kansas State
L.D. Crow (UCF) - from Stanford

Running Backs

Sam McGuffie (Rice) - from Michigan
McGuffie is probably the most well known transfer on this list after making a fantasy splash in his freshman year for the Wolverines.  He had a great spring practice and seems ready to become a big part of the Owls offense this fall.  But this is an offense in transition.  Keep your expectations in check.

Lennon Creer (Louisiana Tech) - from Tennessee
Creer just can't seem to get out of the way of the wrecking ball that is Lane Kiffin.  Creer was one of the early defectors when Kiffin took over in Knoxville.  He transferred to L-Tech, where he seemed like a great fit for their run-heavy offense.  Then Kiffin leaves the Vols and La Tech's head coach Derek Dooley takes the job.  Creer's new coaching staff is said to be installing the spread offense.?

Raymond Carter (Colorado State) – from UCLA
Carter was a prep stud who never made his mark in Los Angeles. He’ll battle John Mosure and Leonard Mason for carries, but has the potential to separate himself from the pack and become the Rams' main guy.

Other RB Transfers:
Aundre Dean (TCU) - from UCLA
Cameron Bell (Northern Illinois) - from Iowa State

Wide Receivers

Vidal Hazelton (Cincinnati)- from USC
Hazelton made some spectacular plays for Pete Carroll's Trojans.  He rocked the Bearcats defense this fall when playing on the scout team.  Look for Hazelton to become a top target for Zach Collaros this fall.

Tyler Stradford (North Texas)- from Oklahoma
Stradford has been on the fantasy radar for a couple years now.  After transferring from OU to the Sun Belt, he is seemingly a big fish in a small pond.  The question is: will he have a competent QB under center to get him the ball?

Aaron Pflugrad (Arizona State)- from Oregon
With the Sun Devils losing their top receivers to graduation, Pflugrad stands a good chance to be a starter this fall in what should be a pass-heavy offense.

Jameel Owens (Tulsa)- from Oklahoma
Owens makes the trek from Norman across the state to Tulsa.  The NCAA has allowed him to play this fall after transferring from the Sooners.

Other WR Transfers:
Toney Clemons (Colorado) - from Michigan
Josh Smith (UCLA) - from Colorado
Ahmad Paige (La Tech) - from Tennessee
Jermaine McKenzie (Memphis) - from Miami
Brodrick Smith (Kansas State) - from Minnesota
LaVorick Williams (UTEP) - from New Mexico State
Tim Molton (La Tech) - from LSU

Tight Ends

Andrew Devlin (Pitt) - from Virginia
Joseph Fauria (UCLA) - from Notre Dame
Will Yeatman (Maryland) - from Notre Dame
Ryan Wallace (Kentucky) - from Colorado
