Chris Brown (RB, Oklahoma)

What’s the scoop?  DeMarco Murray’s latest hamstring injury has us wondering if Brown will once again wind up with better stats than his counterpart this fall.
Fantasy impact:  MEDIUM  

Randall Cobb (WR, Kentucky)

What’s the scoop?  The Kentucky coaching staff says they want to get Cobb 15 touches per game.  That’s a lot of touches for a “fantasy WR”.  Look for him to lineup at RB, QB, and WR.
Fantasy impact:  MEDIUM  

Jock Sanders (WR, West Virginia)

What’s the scoop?  Jock has officially been reinstated to the WVU program and has been practicing with the team.  He should be QB Jarrett Brown’s top receiving weapon this fall.
Fantasy impact:  LOW

Sean Canfield (QB, Oregon State)

What’s the scoop?  Lyle Moevao’s recovery from shoulder surgery is going slower than expected.  With each passing day, Canfield’s chances of winning the starting job become greater.
Fantasy impact:  LOW  

Daniel Thomas (RB, Kansas State)

What’s the scoop?  The JUCO transfer has been cleared to practice with the team.  Coach Snyder is looking at Thomas as a RB, but the big 6’2 227-pounder could also play a little QB.  Bill Snyder had a few pretty good fantasy RB’s back in his hey-day, thus we’ll be watching this story closely.
Fantasy impact:  LOW  

Atiyyah Henderson and/or Brandon Sullivan (RB, San Diego State)

What’s the scoop?  Both Head Coach Brady Hoke and Offensive Coordinator Al Borges echoed the same sentiment:  that they want to find a feature back to carry the load in the backfield.  Good news for whoever wins the job between Henderson and Sullivan. 
Fantasy impact:  LOW

Stock Down

DeMarco Murray (RB, Oklahoma)
What’s the scoop? Murray suffered another hamstring injury and could miss up to two weeks of valuable camp time.
Fantasy impact:  MEDIUM

Malcolm Lane (WR, Hawaii)
What’s the scoop? The Honolulu Adviser reports that University of Hawai’i wideout Malcolm Lane will redshirt this season to focus on academics.
Fantasy impact:  MEDIUM

Lyle Moevao (QB, Oregon State)
What’s the scoop? His recovery is going slower than expected and it looks like he might not be ready for the start of the season.
Fantasy impact:  LOW

Russell Wilson (QB, NC State)
What’s the scoop? The Wolfpack coaching staff plans to insert youngster Mike Glennon for a series each game.  This would obviously take some stats away from Wilson.
Fantasy impact:  LOW

Michael Smith (RB, Arkansas)
What’s the scoop? USC transfer Broderick Green was cleared to play this fall by the NCAA.  Green is an absolute beast who could steal some carries from Smith, particularly in the red zone.
Fantasy impact:  LOW

Keithen Valentine (RB, Kansas State)
What’s the scoop? JUCO transfer Daniel Thomas has been cleared to practice with the team, and is being seen as an RB through the eyes of Coach Bill Snyder.  Thomas poses a major threat to Valentine on the depth chart.
Fantasy impact:  LOW

Nic Grigsby (RB, Arizona)
What’s the scoop? Grigsby sprained his ankle in practice and had to be carted off.  The severity of the injury is not yet known.  Keola Antolin is a more than capable backup, and will see first team reps in Nic’s absence.
Fantasy impact:  LOW
