Borel has shown flashes of brilliance this year, and this matchup makes him very tasty starting option.
Dasher has played inspired football in his first couple games, and helped MTSU upset Maryland last week. He should produce a nice statline against a suspect UNT defense.
Navy QBs are often inconsistent due to the rushing nature of their stat production. However, we think Dobbs is going to be on the “good side” of the inconsistency scale this week and have a big game.
Masoli has been a bust so far this year, and now - against a good Cal defense - is not the time to depend on him for points.
Wilson has look good against inferior competition, and bad against quality opponents. Pitt is a quality opponent.
With DeAndre Brown still a bit of a mystery, this could be a tough trip to Lawrence for Davis. Better days are ahead, however, as the schedule is chock full o’ C-USA opponents from here on out.
This kid has rushed for nearly 8 yards a carry thus far on the young season. The Thundering Herd will likely give him the rock early and often in this one.
Thomas has become the workhorse back for KSU. He should roll for 100+ and multiple scores against this lowly opponent.
Like his QB counterpart (Borel), we think Turbin puts up a nice statline in this favorable matchup.
Arkansas is using a RBBC approach, rendering Smith nearly useless. Whatever running game the Hogs bring in this one will likely be shut down by a ferocious Bama defense.
Dwyer isn’t 100% and the matchup against a good Tar Heels defense is not favorable.
This is a great match up on paper. The problem is that Scott has vanished completely from the fantasy radar. Is this the week he climbs out of this slump? We’re not willing to risk it and find out.
Juro is one of our favorite under the radar picks of the week. He should be able to post a nice day against this lesser opponent.
The FIU defense is bad. The Toledo passing game is good. Page should rip off a few big-gainers and a TD.
If you’re in a BCS-only league looking for a WR spot starter, you could do a lot worse than Johnny this week.
What, you ask? Bench your 1st round pick against Grambling? Well, assuming you have a capable backup on your roster, this might be a smart move this week as Dez is banged up. Also Oklahoma State has a bye next week. There are rumblings that Dez might see very limited action as they look to rest him for the B12 slate.
UPDATE - ESPN is reporting that Dez will not play in this game.
This isn’t a match up you want to mess with. We advise you look elsewhere.
By all accounts, Benn is rested, healthy and ready to roll this weekend. We just don’t like the match up.
With Jeff Fuller out, perhaps McCoy gets a few more looks. The UAB defense is a sieve. Look for McCoy to get in the endzone this week.
Hernandez has been dealing with the injury bug, and may be limited. Starting him is a risky move.
