What You Need To Know

The Warhawks entered spring ball on a quest to find a replacement for departing star QB Kinsmon Lancaster.  Consider the quest ongoing.  Trey Revell has the lead over Zach Rhodes for the job, but the competition will rage on into August.  Whoever gets the gig will be running a new, hurry-up offense which could be fun to watch.

Best Fantasy Prospect(s)

RB Frank Goodin accounted for over 1,000 from scrimmage a year ago, and should be the focal point of the offense.  He is a good receiver out of the backfield, totaling 36 receptions over his last two seasons.

Sleeper Prospect

Whoever wins the QB job is one to watch this fall.  Trey Revell is a dangerous runner.  On only 17 carries a year ago, the sophomore rushed for 156 yards.  Last year’s starter, Lancaster, rushed the ball 131 times for 614 yards and 4 scores.

Biggest Question Heading into August

Who will be the QB?  Revell was thought to slide into the starting role this spring, but Rhodes has put up a good fight.  If Rhodes does not win the job, look for him to possibly move out to WR.  He is a talented kid who needs to be on the field.

Spring Game Hero

Rhodes passed for 101 yards and a score to go along with 43 yards rushing.  Revell went 10-of-20 for 89 yards.

Injury Report

Not an injury, but WR Darrell McNeal had been suspended for violating team rules.  His status is unknown at this time.
