What You Need To Know

The Red Wolves are home to two fantasy prospects in seniors QB Corey Leonard and RB Reggie Arnold.  The o-line lost a few starters to graduation, but we expect the offense to be one of the best in the Sun Belt.

Best Fantasy Prospect(s)

RB Reggie Arnold has rushed for 1,000 in each of his first three seasons.  In 2008, he finished with 1,209 total yards and 8 touchdowns.  Expect more of the same from Arnold in 2009.

QB Corey Leonard has been remarkably consistent over the past two seasons, averaging 2,300 passing yards, 16 passing TDs, 525 rushing yards and 5 rushing TDs per season.  He is someone to consider in deeper leagues.

Sleeper Prospect

TE Kedric Murray will be trying to fill the void left by David Johnson (22 catches, 356 yards, 5 TDs).

Biggest Question Heading into August

Can the rebuilt offensive line continue to protect Leonard and provide a strong running game for the Red Wolves?  It sounds as though the coaching staff isn’t too worried.

Spring Game Hero

Leonard went 11-of-16 for 99 yards.

Injury Report

Nothing major to report on the injury front, but RB Preston Brown transferred after being arrested on burglary charges.
