What You Need To Know

The big news this spring revolved around the quarterback battle.  Exit Brian Johnson.  Enter Corbin Louks, Terrence Cain and Jordan Wynn.  Louks is said to have the inside track for the job, but the competition is still ongoing and will be settled during August practice.

Best Fantasy Prospect(s)

RB Matt Asiata appears to be the focal point of the offense.  With Darrell Mack graduating and the Utes breaking in a young QB, Coach Whittingham basically admitted that Asiata will be their workhorse.  Good news for fantasy owners as a true feature back is hard to come by these days!

Sleeper Prospect

WR Aiona Key had a good showing this spring.  He leads a deep, star-less, group of receivers.  Key caught 9 balls for 85 yards and two scores in the spring game.

Biggest Question Heading into August

Who will win the QB job?  And will that player put up fantasy worthy stats?  Something to keep an eye on in September.

Spring Game Hero

Corbin Louks went 22 of 33 for 322 yards and three TDs.  WR Aiona Key led all receivers with nine snags for 85 yards and two scores.

Injury Report

Nothing major to report.
