What You Need To Know

Star QB Julian Edelman is gone.  Star RB Eugene Jarvis returns, along with four o-line starters.

Best Fantasy Prospect(s)

Eugene Jarvis is the only fantasy prospect on the Golden Flashes, but he is a good one.  He should be a Top 20 preseason RB on most everyone’s draft boards.

Sleeper Prospect

TE Jonathan Simpson performed well this spring.  With the WR unit struggling, Simpson could be asked to play a bigger role in the offense this fall.

Biggest Question Heading into August

Can the Golden Flashes find an adequate replacemtne for the electric Julian Edelman?  The leader so far appears to be sophomore Giorgio Morgan, but reports out of spring camp were that he struggled mightily.  Look for teams to stack the box against the run until KSU can prove they have some sort of passing game.

Spring Game Hero

Nothing major to report.

Injury Report

Backup RB Andre Flowers was taken off the field on a stretcher in one scrimmage, but his injuries appear not to be serious.  TE Justin Thompson had knee surgery and missed spring ball.
