What You Need To Know

The passing game should be prolific as the trio of QB Trevor Vittatoe, WR Jeff Moturi and WR Kris Adams returns to wreak havoc on C-USA.

Best Fantasy Prospect(s)

Trevor Vittatoe is poised for another monster year.  He passed for nearly 3,300 yards and 33 TDs in 2008.  Look for him to post even better numbers this fall.

Wide receivers Jeff Moturi and Kris Adams should both be drafted in every All-120 league.  They posted a combined 1,600 receiving yards and 23 touchdowns last fall

Sleeper Prospect

RB Vernon Frazier dominated scrimmages throughout the spring.  With leading rusher Terrell Jackson lost to graduation, Frazier could become the No. 1 guy.  However, UTEP doesn’t run the ball much.  Frazier will need to get the majority of the carries to be a legitimate fantasy threat.  Daniel Palmer and Jason Williams are pushing him for carries.

Biggest Question Heading into August

No major questions on offense other than who will become the top rushing threat.

Spring Game Hero

Vittatoe completed 22 of 35 passes for 276 yards and two touchdowns—both to Moturi, who finished with seven catches for 100 yards. Moturi reeled in scoring passes of 8 and 30 yards.

Injury Report

Nothing major to report.
