CLEMSON
It’s a bit of a transition year for Clemson as RB James Davis and WR Aaron Kelly move on to the NFL. The focus this spring was set squarely on the QB position, as Willy Corn and Kyle Parker began a battle that will likely continue into the fall.
The electric running back, C.J. Spiller, returns. Without James Davis to share the carries with, Spiller has a chance to finally become a breakout fantasy star.
Not sure that he really qualifies as a sleeper (he did post 55-710-4 in 2008), but WR Jacoby Ford should benefit from the loss of his graduating counterpart, Aaron Kelly.
Who will line up under center? Willy Corn and Kyle Parker ended the spring, and nobody had won the starting job.
QB Kyle Parker completed 12-21 passes for 171 yards and a score, and also ran for a TD.
Nothing major to report.
