Tulsa quarterback G.J. Kinne injured his MCL early in Saturday's game against Oklahoma State and did not return.  Redshirt freshman Kalen Henderson finished the game, going 6-for-20 for 104 yards, 2 touchdowns and 3 interceptions.

The hits keep on coming for Tulsa.  Let's see what the MRI reveals.  Kalen Henderson struggled for most of the night (understandably).  With Shavodrick Beaver transferring this summer, it appears to be Henderson's job - if Kinne is out.

**UPDATE 09/19/11 - Per the Tulsa World: Tulsa quarterback G.J. Kinne is believed to have suffered a Grade II MCL tear on his left knee in Sunday morning’s 59-33 loss to Oklahoma State...Rehabilitation time for this type of injury can range anywhere from 2-4 weeks, but some may take longer to heal, according to Keith Stanley, sports medicine physician at Tulsa Bone and Joint Associates.  Freshman Kalen Henderson will man the ship while Kinne is out.  He looked shaky at best against Oklahoma State Saturday night.  Regarding Kinne's potential four-week recovery period, next up for Tulsa is Boise State, North Texas, a bye week and UAB.
