Ah, the morning after. It's a time to reflect upon fantasy glory/misfortune from the day before. It's also a time to peruse the injury situation.
Week 5 of the college football season is in the books. Here's a quick rundown of some key injury news. We'll have much more on each item here later today.
* Northwestern QB Dan Persa left the game with another leg injury.
* Florida QB John Brantley was carted off and did not return.
* LSU RB Spencer Ware hurt his hamstring and did not return.
* Utah QB Jordan Wynn hurt his non-throwing shoulder. He did not play in the second half.
* Boston College RB Andre Williams hurt his ankle.
* FIU WR TY Hilton looked like he was getting closer to 100 percent after suffering a hamstring injury last week.
* Miami (FL) RB Lamar Miller did indeed play despite his shoulder injury, and he did produce.
* Virginia RB Kevin Parks did not play due to an injury, and Perry Jones took advantage.
Much more to come later today, including this week's Champs and Chumps. Stay tuned.
