Houston @ Oklahoma State, 3:30 PM EST, Saturday

Houston: Case Keenum, Bryce Beall, Tyron Carrier and Patrick Edwards.
Watch for……Carrier and Edwards.  Sub par performances last weekend.  They should bounce back in Stillwater.  Now is not the time for disappearing acts.  Case will need his two burners Saturday.

Oklahoma State: Zac Robinson, Kendall Hunter and Dez Bryant.
Watch for…..Zac Robinson.  I think Robinson is going to put up XBOX numbers this weekend.

Bottom Line: Cowboy Up,  ladies and gentlemen!!  This game will have plenty of Offense.  I can see the total points in this one reaching 90.  If you like Defense, DO NOT watch this game!!!!!!!

BYU @ Tulane, 3:30 PM EST, Saturday

BYU: Max Hall, Dennis Pitta and McKay Jacobson
Watch for…..Running game.  With 33 carries for 28 yds vs. OU, BYU had no success on the ground.  If there is no running game Max Hall will throw for huge numbers again this week.

Tulane: Joe Kemp, Andre Anderson and Jeremy Williams
Watch for……Joe Kemp.  He was pretty steady last week.  Keep an eye on him.  Two things are going for him:  He is a C-USA QB (which is grounds for fantasy consideration by default) and he has a stud in the backfield to help with play action.

Bottom Line: Here is what will happen:  Hall will throw for 300 yds and 3 td’s, Anderson will account for 150 yds of O and 2 td’s, and Jeremy Williams will go over the century mark again.

Southern Methodist @ UAB, 4:00 PM EST, Saturday

SMU: Bo Levi Mitchell, Shawnbrey McNeal, Aldrick Robinson and Emmanuel Sanders.
Watch for…..Shawnbrey McNeal.  19 carries last week averaging over 8 yds per carry.  Could this possibly be a legit running option of all places SMU home of the Pony Express?  Another week l repeat and we can begin the talk.

UAB: Joe Webb and Frantrell Forrest.
Watch for……Frantrell Forrest.  We all have seen and read about the the heroics of J-Dub - as I like to call him.  However, every Batman needs a Robin and Mr. Webb has a good one in Forest.  He will be running free all afternoon vs. SMU.

Bottom Line:   This has the makings of a wild one down in Birmingham.  Legion Field has seen it share of great QBs but I believe Joe Webb is in for a special type of year.

Bowling Green @ Missouri, 7:00 PM EST, Saturday

Bowling Green: Tyler Sheehan and Freddie Barnes.
Watch for……O-Line play.  I’m not a total believer in the BGSU offense.  Versus a good defense in Missouri, I want to see if the line can give Sheehan enough time to put up a nice statline.  I believe they’ll get it done.

Missouri: Blaine Gabbert, Danario Alexander and Wes Kemp.
Watch for….Gabbert.  Who did you think it would be!!  A mix of Brad Smith’s legs and Chase Daniel’s pocket presence.  If he plays four quarters he is going to have a HUGE day!!!!!!!!

Bottom Line: This is my weekly under-the-radar special.  BGSU does have the O to keep up and make Gabbert and Co. continue to score.  Just when you thought Mizzou would have no fantasy impact.  SURPRISE!!!!!!

Kansas @ UTEP, 7:30 PM EST, Saturday

Kansas: Todd Reesing, Jake Sharp, Toben Opurum, Dezmon Briscoe and Kerry Meier.
Watch for……Opurum.  Mangino has been saying that Sharp would not get all of the carries this year.  Well, he was right.  Mr. Opurum looks to be the short yardage/goal line back.  He carried 8 times for 79 yds and 2 td’s last week.  Sharp owners should beware.  We could be seeing the early signs of a vulture situation in Lawrence.

UTEP: Trevor Vittatoe, Kris Adams and Jeff Moturi.
Watch for…….Vittatoe.  If you own Vittatoe, I am sure you were ready to push him off a tall building last weekend.  However, you need to ride your horse and he this could be one of those games where he lights it up.  I’ve got your back, Trevor.  Don’t let me down this week!

Bottom Line: We all know exactly what to expect from the Jayhawks.  What we don’t know is what are the boys from El Paso going to do.  My guess is that they will put up plenty of points and make this game a shootout.
