Memphis: Will Hudgens, Curtis Steele, Duke Calhoun and Carlos Singleton.
Watch for….RB Curtis Steele. Could see upwards of 30 carries in this one as Memphis plays keep away. 100 yards and 2 TD’s sounds right.
Houston: Case Keenum, Charles Sims, James Cleveland, Tyron Carrier and Patrick Edwards.
Watch for…WR Tyron Carrier. Where have you been? 149 yards and 2 TD’s last week. Let’s see if he can keep it going against the 105th pass defense.
Bottom Line: Memphis will NOT stop the Cougars at all. Memphis will get their shots in though.
Connecticut: Zach Frazer, Jordan Todman, Andre Dixon and Marcus Easley.
Watch for…QB Zach Frazer. Has thrown 78 passes in the last 2 games. The Irish D is very shaky. Expect good numbers this week.
Notre Dame: Jimmy Clausen, Armando Allen, Golden Tate and Michael Floyd.
Watch for….RB Armando Allen. 14 carrries 77 yards last week. Allen should have some nice run lanes this week.
Bottom Line: We know ND will score. However UCONN has shown(see Cincy game) that they can score as well. Expect plenty of points in this one.
California: Kevin Riley, Shane Vereen, Marvin Jones and Verran Tucker.
Watch for…RB Shane Vereen. 30 carries last week. Expect the same this week. 100 yards and 2 TD’s sounds about right.
Stanford: Andrew Luck, Toby Gerhart, Ryan Whalen and Chris Owusu.
Watch for…QB Andrew Luck. Cal will sell out to stop Touchdown Toby. Luck will have a chance to put up big numbers this week.
Bottom Line: Stanford averages 36 points a game. Cal averages 30 points a game. This game may get in the high 40’s.
Baylor: Nick Florence, Kendall Wright and David Gettis.
Watch for…QB Nick Florence. The Aggies are 112th nationally in pass defense. Mr. Florence should have a huge day in College Station.
Texas A&M: Jerrod Johnson, Christine Michael, Jeff Fuller and Ryan Tannehill.
Watch for…RB Christine Michael. Baylor is last in the Big 12 in rush defense (167 yards per game). Expect big numbers this week.
Bottom Line: The Aggies haven’t played D all year so why should they start now. JJ will get his yards and scores but Baylor will make this a wild shootout.
