WEEK 3
Start 'Em, Sit 'Em - QBs
Start 'Em, Sit 'Em - RBs
Start 'Em, Sit 'Em - WRs

Another season of college football has arrived! Each week, the CFG staff will chime in with their start-sit recommendations. Pay attention as these guys know their stuff.

*Note: At CFG we strive to provide a variety of expert opinions.  Some may contradict each other, or our FFCPI, and we're cool with that. Our goal is to give you as much info as possible so that you can form your own final lineup decisions.

START 'EM

Shaq Evans – UCLA vs. Nebraska
Evans is the top receiving option in the UCLA passing game and should see quite a bit of action against Nebraska. The Huskers pass defense has been awful so far and could allow Evans to post big numbers. Expect a bunch of yardage and points in this contest.
STAFF PICK – KEVIN MOUNT

Davante Adams, Isiah Burse, Josh Harper- Fresno State vs. Colorado
The high-powered Fresno State passing attack could be firing on all cylinders against a lousy Colorado defense. All three of these guys could have productive fantasy afternoons.
STAFF PICK – KEVIN MOUNT

Jared Abbrederis – Wisconsin at Arizona State
Wisconsin will finally face a “real” opponent when they travel west to face the Sun Devils. Arizona State will put up points in this contest and the Badgers will need to go to the air to keep pace. It’s not out of the question to expect 100 yards and a touchdown.
STAFF PICK – JOE ARPASI

Ryan Grant – Tulane at Louisiana Tech
Tulane will find themselves in a shootout this week and Grant will be needed in the fireworks show. We may have seen a preview from Grant’s performance last week of 14 receptions, 187 yards, and two scores. Don’t count on the same numbers but two scores is not out of the question.
STAFF PICK – JOE ARPASI

Devin Street- Pittsburgh vs. New Mexico
My week one sit recommendation for Street was wrong, as he racked up 141 receiving yards against FSU. This week he faces a weak New Mexico secondary and should see plenty of passes. I expect him to go over the 100 yard mark again and score his first touchdown of 2013.
STAFF PICK – RYAN MOSS

Travis Greene- Bowling Green vs. Indiana
Greene is a tricky player since in some leagues he is eligible at both running back and wide receiver. Regardless, he leads the Falcons in rushing yards and is their number one running back. Bowling Green takes on an Indiana defense that has struggled in 2013 (287.5 rushing yards against per game) making Greene an excellent option.

SIT 'EM

Marqise Lee – USC vs. Boston College
It’s difficult to put such a stud on the bench, but the Trojans passing game is a hot mess right now and it is killing Lee’s fantasy value. Fantasy owners should temper their expectations for Lee until USC can fix their passing attack.
STAFF PICK - KEVIN MOUNT

Jordan Leslie – UTEP vs. New Mexico
Leslie was a huge disappointment last week with just 12 yards receiving against New Mexico State. It may be wise to take a wait and see approach with Leslie for the immediate future.
STAFF PICK - KEVIN MOUNT

Eric Ward – Texas Tech vs. TCU
This is a word of caution more than a traditional sit pick. Ward was held in check to 3 receptions for 36 yards last week. The return of Jace Amaro and his 142 yards ate into Ward’s production. The TCU defense will be a tough test. The combination of a difficult defense, the emergence of Amaro, and the likely hood of freshman quarterback Mayfield making freshman mistakes could all lead to another average week for Ward.
STAFF PICK – JOE ARPASI

Jalen Saunders Oklahoma vs. Tulsa
I think Saunders is a great player, but the Sooners have big question marks at the quarterback position. With the Belldozer now the starter, we really don’t know how well he can throw. Against Tulsa, Oklahoma should be able to lean on its ground game, which means Saunders won’t have the chance to put up many fantasy points.
STAFF PICK – RYAN MOSS

Nelson Agholor USC vs. Boston College
Agholor is extremely talented, but the Trojans don’t have anyone to throw him or Marqise Lee the ball. Lee remains a must start for now, but until the Trojans develop a passing game it’s best to avoid playing Agholor even against weak defenses.
