The CFG Reader’s Rumble is a 24-team, head-to-head college fantasy football league sponsored by our friends at U-Sports/AthlonSports and FantasyTrophies.com.  U-Sports was good enough to donate the league management services and FantasyTrophies.com is donating a killer trophy to our winner (see picture below).

Week 8 Review:
* Neil Young’s CRAZYHORSE was the 3rd highest scoring team in the league, but it wasn’t enough as he fell to Mmmmm Beer in a epic Rumble battle, 140-137.
* FirstHalfFirstDowns knocked off Cantrells Calvary 108-85 to keep his playoff hopes alive.


Week 9 Lookahead:
* There are 11 teams with winning records.
* Remember, we are playing a 10 game regular season.  8 teams make the playoffs (4 divisional champs plus 4 wildcards).

CFG ESPN PICK’EM

The CFG ESPN Pick ‘Em is a pick-the-winner game with a twist: Players must rank their picks in order of confidence.  There are 28 competitors on The Quest for the Fat Man - affectionately referring to the trophy donated by our sponsor, FantasyTrophies.com (see picture above).

Weekly Summary
Lookin’ for Heywood took sole possession of first place with a stellar 52 point performance.  Debaser, TC VIPERS and carolina blue are close behind.  This week’s slate looks to be much tougher than last, and I expect to see another shake up at the top of the leaderboard.
