We have two contests going on here at CollegeFootballGeek.com: The Reader’s Rumble and the ESPN Pick ‘Em Challenge.  Both contests include our savvy readers and a few CFG staff members. 

Here’s a quick look at who’s atop the leaderboard.

THE RUMBLE

The CFG Reader’s Rumble is a 24-team, head-to-head college fantasy football league sponsored by our friends at U-Sports/AthlonSports and FantasyTrophies.com.  U-Sports was good enough to donate the league management services and FantasyTrophies.com is donating a killer trophy to our winner (see picture below).

The regular season is over. Here’s a quick league summary…


Here are the Top 3 highest scoring teams on the season:

League notes:
* ADRENOCHROME did something that is very hard to do.  In a league of 24 teams, he was the 3rd highest scoring team… and yet had a 3-7 record.  He was a victim of total points against, surrendering a league high 1288.35.
* CRAZYHORSE had the perfect mixture for a stellar record:  #1 in points FOR and #1 in points AGAINST.
* The Civil War: Brother vs. Brother: One of the more intriguing storylines from the final week of the regular season was the match up of the Arpasi Brothers.  Joe (Give the Ball to Bundy) shattered the playoff hopes of brother David (Revenge of the Hoosier) with a dominating 154-98 Week 10 performance. 


THE PLAYOFFS
* Mmmmmmm Beer (8-2) vs. Mister Bait (6-4)
Beer rides the league’s longest winning streak (4 games) against the #8 seed Mister Bait.

* CRAZYHORSE (8-2) vs. Tony Horsemana (7-3)
Deja vu?  These two squared off just last week with CRAZYHORSE cruising 152-69.

* Cantrells Calvary (7-3) vs. Minimen (7-3)
Minimen has scored more points down the stretch and seems to have the edge in this one.

* Green Man! (7-3) vs. Make It Happen (7-3)
G-Man defeated Make It in Week 9, 110-95.  The matchups seem pretty even here.

CFG ESPN PICK’EM

The CFG ESPN Pick ‘Em is a pick-the-winner game with a twist: Players must rank their picks in order of confidence.  There are 28 competitors on The Quest for the Fat Man - affectionately referring to the trophy donated by our sponsor, FantasyTrophies.com (see picture above).

Weekly Summary
Only three weeks left and the leaderboard remains really tight a tie at the top!  There are probably 6-7 guys that have a shot at winning this thing.  The rest of us are going to need a whole lot of luck.
