As the bowl season rolls on, so do our handy-dandy previews.  Here is our take on the next chunk of games on the holiday season slate.

TCU vs. La Tech
San Diego County CU Poinsettia
Bowl
Wednesday, December 21 at 8:00pm ET (ESPN)

A battle of conference champions!  TCU is known for it's suffocating defense, but this fall they are winning with offense.  The Horned Frogs have scored 31 points in all but one game this year (27 vs. San Diego State).  However, from a fantasy perspective TCU has been spreading the ball around too much for our liking.  Other than maybe WR Josh Boyce, there hasn't been a consistent fantasy star from this bunch.  La Tech hasn't been able to put together the high-flying offense we had all hoped for when head coach Sonny Dykes entered the fray, but they do have a couple dangerous playmakers in RB Lennon Creer and WR Quinton Patton.

CFG’s Todd DeVries says:
Game Prediction: TCU 38-20
Fantasy Stud: WR Josh Boyce, TCU
Sleeper to Watch: RB Hunter Lee, La Tech

CFG’s Kevin Mount says:
Game Prediction: TCU 38-17
Fantasy Stud: QB Casey Pachall, TCU
Sleeper to Watch: WR Quinton Patton, La Tech

CFG’s Joe Arpasi says:
Game Prediction: TCU 35-17
Fantasy Stud: QB Casey Pachall, TCU
Sleeper to Watch: RB Mattthew Tucker, TCU

Boise State vs. Arizona State
MAACO Las Vegas Bowl

Thursday, December 22 at 8:00pm ET (ESPN)

This is the swan song for Kellen Moore, the winningest quarterback in modern college football history.  Will this serve as enough motivation for his Broncos in this one?  Boise State certainly deserved a better bowl game that this.  Arizona State lost their head coach as Dennis Erickson was let go.  Todd Graham jumped ship from Pitt to Tempe.  The Sun Devils could let it all hang out with a nothing-to-lose mentality, or they could go through the motions here.  I expect the latter.

CFG’s Todd DeVries says:
Game Prediction: Boise State 42-21
Fantasy Stud: QB Kellen Moore, Boise State
Sleeper to Watch: WR Matt Miller, Boise State

CFG’s Kevin Mount says:
Game Prediction: Boise State 34-24
Fantasy Stud: QB Kellen Moore, Boise State
Sleeper to Watch: WR Gerrell Robinson, Arizona State

CFG’s Joe Arpasi says:
Game Prediction: Boise State 52-24
Fantasy Stud: WR Tyler Shoemaker, Boise State
Sleeper to Watch: RB Doug Martin, Boise State

Southern Miss vs. Nevada
Sheraton Hawaii Bowl

Saturday, December 24 at 8:00pm ET (ESPN)

Southern Miss has a better defense than you think. The shut down Houston in the C-USA title game.  Don't be surprised if they give Nevada problems in this one.  The Wolfpack don't have a great track record in bowl games of late, at least when it comes to the offense showing up.  On the other side of the ball, Golden Eagle QB Austin Davis will be playing in his last college game.  He's broken most of Brett Favre's records, and should be able to shred the Nevada defense.

CFG’s Todd DeVries says:
Game Prediction: Southern Miss 34-20
Fantasy Stud: QB Austin Davis, Southern Miss
Sleeper to Watch: RB Tracy Lampley, Southern MIss

CFG’s Kevin Mount says:
Game Prediction: Southern Miss 41-31
Fantasy Stud: QB Austin Davis, Southern Miss
Sleeper to Watch: RB Tracy Lampley, Southern Miss

CFG’s Joe Arpasi says:
Game Prediction: Southern Miss 38-28
Fantasy Stud: WR Rishard Matthews, Nevada
Sleeper to Watch: QB Austin Davis, Southern Miss

Missouri vs. North Carolina
AdvoCare V100 Independence Bowl
Monday, December 26 at 5:00pm ET (ESPN)

If the Tar Heels are going to move the ball through the air in this one, they're going to have to do it without the services of talented WR Dwight Jones, who has been deemed ineligible.  That means UNC will likely turn to RB Giovanni Bernard to handle most of the workload.  Missouri counters with a dynamic dual threat QB James Franklin.  He's been inconsistent this season, but when he's ON, Mizzou is really tough to beat.

CFG’s Todd DeVries says:
Game Prediction: Missouri 26-23
Fantasy Stud: RB James Franklin, Missouri
Sleeper to Watch: WR Erik Highsmith, UNC

CFG’s Kevin Mount says:
Game Prediction: Missouri 24-21
Fantasy Stud: RB Giovanni Bernard, UNC
Sleeper to Watch: N/A

CFG’s Joe Arpasi says:
Game Prediction: Missouri 28-24
Fantasy Stud: QB James Franklin, Missouri
Sleeper to Watch: RB Giovanni Bernard, UNC

Purdue vs. Western Michigan
Little Caesars Pizza
Tuesday, December 27 at 4:30pm ET (ESPN)

Is this an upset in the making?  Western Michigan has a high-powered offense that should pose plenty of problems for the Boilers.  WMU will get their share of points.  The wildcard is Purdue's offense.  They've been an enigma for most of the season.  Don't be surprised if they use the month of bowl prep installing some new looks to juice up the offense.

CFG’s Todd DeVries says:
Game Prediction: Western Michigan 30-24
Fantasy Stud: WR Jordan White, Western Michigan
Sleeper to Watch: WR Antavian Edison, Purdue

CFG’s Kevin Mount says:
Game Prediction: Western Michigan 42-38
Fantasy Stud: WR Jordan White, Western Michigan
Sleeper to Watch: N/A

CFG’s Joe Arpasi says:
Game Prediction: Purdue 31-21
Fantasy Stud: WR Jordan White, Western Michigan
Sleeper to Watch: QB Alex Carder, Western Michigan

Louisville vs. NC State
Belk Bowl
Tuesday, December 27 at 8:00pm ET (ESPN)

Not much fantasy mustard in this one.  Louisville quarterback Teddy Bridgewater is a youngster worth keeping an eye on.  Other than that, the Cardinals don't bring much offensive promise to the table.  They win with their defense.  NC State signal caller Mike Glennon has shown flashes of brilliance this fall, but he's had more downs than ups.  James Washington is the team's leading rusher and will see plent

CFG’s Todd DeVries says:
Game Prediction: NC State 27-17
Fantasy Stud: Nobody is a stud in this one
Sleeper to Watch: RB James Washington, NC State

CFG’s Kevin Mount says:
Game Prediction: NC State 20-17
Fantasy Stud: QB Mike Glennon, NC State
Sleeper to Watch: QB Teddy Bridgewater, Louisville

CFG’s Joe Arpasi says:
Game Prediction: Louisville 24-13
Fantasy Stud: QB Teddy Bridgewater, Louisville
Sleeper to Watch: RB Victor Anderson, Louisville

Air Force vs. Toledo
Military Bowl
Wednesday, December 28 at 4:30pm ET (ESPN)

Air Force has sprung a few bowl game upsets in recent years.  They are a difficult team to prepare for, even with a month to get ready. Falcons' QB Tim Jefferson is a monster on the ground, and he should find plenty of running room against the Rockets.  Toledo has one of the more potent small school offenses in the country, led by dynamic RB Adonis Thomas and WR Eric Page.  If you like scoring, this bowl game should be a good one to watch.

CFG’s Todd DeVries says:
Game Prediction: Air Force 34-28
Fantasy Stud: QB Tim Jefferson, Air Force
Sleeper to Watch: QB Terrance Owens, Toledo

CFG’s Kevin Mount says:
Game Prediction: Toledo 45-28
Fantasy Stud: RB Adonis Thomas, Toledo
Sleeper to Watch: QB Tim Jefferson, Air Force

CFG’s Joe Arpasi says:
Game Prediction: Toledo 38-32
Fantasy Stud: WR Eric Page, Toledo
Sleeper to Watch: QB Tim Jefferson, Air Force

Cal vs. Texas
Bridgepoint Education Holiday Bowl
Wednesday, December 28 at 8:00pm ET (ESPN)

The Longhorns were never able to get their offense rolling this year, and boy did they sputter down the stretch.  Did they find their QB of the future in David Ash?  We're not entirely sure, but it looks like he's in the driver's seat at the moment.  Cal brings a decent set of skill position weapons to the Holiday party:  RB Iso Sofele, WR Keenan Allen and QB Zach Maynard.  This game doesn't have the buzz of past Holiday Bowls, and looks to be a low-scoring affair.

CFG’s Todd DeVries says:
Game Prediction: Cal 24-17
Fantasy Stud: WR Keenan Allen, Cal
Sleeper to Watch: QB David Ash, Texas

CFG’s Kevin Mount says:
Game Prediction: Texas 27-20
Fantasy Stud: WR Keenan Allen, Cal
Sleeper to Watch: RB Malcolm Brown, Texas

CFG’s Joe Arpasi says:
Game Prediction: Cal 20-17
Fantasy Stud: WR Marvin Jones, Cal
Sleeper to Watch: QB Zach Maynard, Cal
